Season 2 episode 2 overated
I tought Episode 2 was great but i didnt think it was the best episode telltale ever made like ALOT of people are claiming . I didnt think the decisions were tough at all i made my decisons without regretting a single thing and i made them pretty fast as well. The episode was still a bit short as i was hoping for 2 hours but only got 1:35, still some technical issues on the ps3 at least with a loading screen that lasted at least 40 seconds in one scene . I did like the villain and the dialogue and plot overall semeed like a step up from Both TWAU E2 and TWD E1 so i was happy in that aspect. Also seems like the choices you make will affect the story down the line as 2 characters can either live or die depending on your actions.
Overral i think the episode deserved an 8.5 and not the 9.5 and tens it getting . Its a step up from E1 as it did build on its good points and make them great points ( story, choices , dialogue, action scenes and so on) but it didnt fix alot of the problems like tech issues and easy choices ( at least for me they were easy but at least it seems they will matter alot down the line) and it was also shorter then expected.
And the best episode thus far is Season 1 episode 2 IMO not Season 2 Episode 2

Just because you don't like it that much, it dosen't mean it's overrated.
Yeh, agreed
In most of the people's opinion, it was a masterpiece.
Just because you think it's overrated doesn't make it overrated.
Im not saying i dont like it obviously if you read my entire post i said i tought it deserved an 8.5 if thats not liking a game then a 7.5 is hating it .
it's not overrated, it deserved all of the praise it got because they did alot of things right in the episode. i'd say it's just as good as starved for help
at first i had reservations about the new writers and the direction they would take it,but..episode 2 put all doubt to bed,it was a masterpiece,it had everything, shocking deaths, cliff hangers, surprises, calmness, supreme episode.
If something is overrated or not comes down to personal opinion. His opinion is that it was overrated, and he provided reasons why, therefore to him it was overrated. He also didn't say he didn't like it, he actually said it was great, and he rated it an 8.5.
As a side note I don't think it was overrated, it's tied for my favorite along with No Time Left.
Read my comment: ''Don't like it that much'' is diferent from ''Don't like it''.
Also i did read you're post, i made that change because of you're score.
Just because you think it wasn't overrated doesn't mean it wasn't overrated.
Edit: Overrated or underrated is all a matter of opinion.
First: take my like. I don't agree, but I respect
It was fairly short but the constant intense story gave it the illusion of longevity. They would have been in good mind to make a better hub area or two, so that didn't sit well with me.
If you don't regret the choices then you made the right ones. You could cost or save two of your allies lives, that's pretty influential choice. Also the hardest choice of the episode wasn't a morality one or a life or death one, so I thought that was very interesting and innovative.
Those are really the only two problems I saw you point out. All in all I would give the episode a 9-9.5
Thank you for understanding my point of view
so far i liked the new episodes, but season 1 is vastly superior.
''EDIT: APPARENTLY I CANT GIVE OUT AN OPINION ABOUT AN EPISODE''
Hey now, don't be so hard on yourself. Of course you can give you're opinion. Don't mind the dislikes, if you say something that people disagree they just do that.
Here have a like.
I didnt say they werent influential i just said they werent hard .Again this is just my opinion
It is. But most people's opinions add up to one final opinion, a generalized one. And that is that the episode was amazing.
Being overrated is an opinion - it's a comparison of one's thoughts against the general concensus... I like The Pianist, but I think Roman Polanski in general (basing off of Chinatown and Repulsion) is overrated - it's not that he's bad (they're good films), it's just that I wouldn't put those films in the pantheon of cinema.
I really like S2E2, probably top competing with S1E3 (it's a little unfair, because in a five episode season, the climax and ending are going to have the most impact), and I think it's better than S1E2 (of course, I'm more accustomed to the charactes). Basically, what I'm saying is the OP was throwing out his/her opinion so people could discuss it, why S2E2 wasn't overrated, or why it's been given too much attention (right now it's the latest episode don't forget), so he/she shouldn't have his throat jumped down.
But here's my opinion, and why I think S2E2 is really excellent
Don't worry about the dislikes. They are from trolls or people who can't contemplating a reasonable buttal. They mean nothing.
EDIT: contemplate*
But if you don't agree with the generalized opinion you think it's either underrated or overrated. These words would not exist if the generalized opinion was the only one.
Indeed. I was only adding where my position is with that statement.
(Would you look at that? I sounded like a sir!)
Lol. I personally don't think it was overrated either; I loved it. He's just taking a lot of unnecessary heat for this thread.
Well, you're right. Sorry if i came off as rude there
Not a problem. You're taking heat for this, but you aren't getting many actual opinion.
Yeah Episode 2 was just plain baad.
Your face is overrated.
It's not about respecting his opinion, it's the fact that whether or not something is over or underrated is simply a matter of opinion.
7 haters in The Walking Dead game community?
Season 2 is overrated.
