Kill Luke?

Does anyone think that Telltale should just kill Luke off in episode 3 and make Kenny the deuteragonist? He has certainly earned it.

  • Seems like sacrificing a character who has yet to be developed for the sake of fan pandering to me.

  • I like Luke, don't get me wrong. But I agree, Kenny should be the deuteragonist. I see him as more of a protector to Clementine. I mean look at the guy, he survived a horde of walkers! He's a badass and a strong survivor!

I like Luke but I like Kenny more... We didn't like each other, I did take care of his son Duck.
Luke is nice and must have a good reason to get kill of.
And Kenny thinks that Clem is Duck. He noticed but still we can get a lot of trouble with that later.

  • Im not sure. I like both

  • Same, as much as I like Kenny, hes probably not in a good condition to watch over Clem.

  • Agreed i fear what will happen when sarita dies

  • Totally this. I get that Kenny is popular, but he isn't that much of an interesting character to me. Everything he does is extremely polarised with no middle ground. You either agree with him and he loves you or you disagree with him and he treats you like an asshole forever. It's what I hated about his character in the first season. You could agree with Kenny one second, then agree with Lilly the next and he'd act you like have always been against him.

  • nuuuuuuuuuuu dont kill luke~~ I like Luke ;'(

(I swear Telltale is going to take my heart and shatter it to gazillion pieces)

  • B b b.... But I don't want Lukey-wuke do die :(

  • I can think of reasons for TTG both killing or not killing Luke:

KILL: If it indeed Kenny's fault that Luke dies, TTG making an enemy out of someone who you probably felt you could trust would make a very interesting narrative mechanic. It would be really jarring to see Kenny try to kill or at least actively harm Clem later in the season...

DON'T KILL: Luke seems underdeveloped as of the end of 202. We don't know where he is, why he led the group away from Carver, why he seems to trust Clem so much, etc. Getting rid of him as a character now could leave too many loose ends and make the narrative messy.

I think I'm in the "Luke survives" camp... for now. However, I was one of the people who did not expect Carley/Doug to get popped in the face, so who knows!

  • Luke dosen't have to die for Kenny to be deuteragonist.

  • actually,I'm more hoping kenny will end up in an agonizing death
