if you tell kenny to take the 2nd shot at carver when alvin is being held hostage, carver will be shot in the arm and then kill alvin
If you go outside to find Kenny there is an option to tell Kenny to try and shoot Carver. If you tell him to shoot, he will, but he only ends up hitting Carver in the arm/shoulder.

Not really. It barely seemed to affect him at all when it actually hit him.
