You know if Wellington is actually a zombie-free zone, I will say kudos to telltale, because at this point the expectation is lots of people die and wellington is a flunk, but what if it is a good place and the story ends with Clem and whoever is still alive, reaches Wellington to a place they can call home, which mean they wouldn't have to turn back as the title implies. Of course because this is the walking dead chances of this are slim, but still possible. I remember when I was reading the comics, I was assured the Alexandria Safe Zone was going to be awful like the Woodbury or eventually fall to walkers, but I was pleasantly surprised to find it was a different sort of community.

Though by the end of the season if they don't kill everyone I predict it will be Clem + (Kenny, Sarah, Rebecca's Baby, Bonnie). Those are who I think might live to the end everyone else I feel is fair game, even Kenny and Bonnie despite me putting them in there are on the border zone.

  • That would be a good twist I mean Nobody at this point is expecting to find anything remotely good in Wellington but I've got a question for you, If your theory happens to be true do you think there will be Season 3 ?

  • If there is I think It will be like 400 days i that it's a completely new cast with no relation to the old team. Though they may run across the old party at some point, or there may be references to the old group.

All in all I think a 3rd season in this way would all just depend on Telltale. At that point would they feel the need to continue the series. As well they would need to take into consideration triple the expectations.

  • Christa thought it was a good idea. Good enough, anyway. It seems to make sense. Go somewhere cold enough that it slows down the walkers, but who knows? It could be a pipe dream.

  • The way things go in TWD, I don't expect it to be all Sunshine and flowers.

  • wouldn't it be a cheap writing if telltale just make the same plot like they did in season 1?

here are some possibilities I see telltale doing

1.Wellington ends up being overrun by walkers or pretty much in a unliveable state and the season ends with whoever is left wondering what to do next leaving it open for a 3rd season

    or

2.We get to Wellington at the end of episode 5 and the season ends with whoever is left alive in our group settling in and if they do a season 3 they will try to do something like the comics (alexandria safe zone vs negan and the saviors) where a group will come and try to take over or something along those lines and that will play a big part of that season but I hope they won't take this route as it would feel cheap

Their journey to Wellington could be just as dangerous as what might be there, On another playthrough i was listening to Sarita's story to Sarah about Good King Wenceslas and it could be foreshadowing episode 5, She talks about a king and his servant walking all night through a cold winter storm and how the servant cant go on but the king insists that the servant follows his tracks.

It might be nothing but it seems like a weird coincidence that the episode 5 slide has snow and Carver is talking about a approaching storm, i have included a video for everyone to see to make your own theories about possible foreshadowing.

  • Even if Wellington exists as a "good place" I believe it's still determined to fail one day. If there are a lot of people there's a high chance that they will die from "the inside". Let it be a sick old man who dies without anyone noticing... boom! He's gonna turn and a chain of reactions is gonna happen.
I'm also not convinced (yet) that they will actually reach Wellington - unless they're planning to do another huge time skip.
I just hope Clem will survive it and not be alone again.

I thought Good King Wenceslas was alluding to Luke actually. Like Sarah said, the servant wouldn't have found himself in that situation if not for following the King's lead in the first place. That's way too similar to how Carver chides the group for following Luke to be a coincidence.

But yeah, I doubt the journey to Wellington will be a picnic. There's the weather factor I mentioned before. I also expect some people to try and 'discourage' others from ever reaching there.

  • Cool your jets there rambo.

  • I think you're right, Wellington won't be what its made out to be. I think it'll be very similar to the town in the show with the governor. Hopefully I am wrong and some make it out alive but I see the group going to Wellington and creating a coup.

  • That's very possible too ! Though I still think its more likely they get there but the town just fell or something but it would makd for a good story if this turns out to be like Woodbury.

Apparently he thinks he can go into people's threads and give orders. My only question is, Who is he ?

  • Yeah, but she took Hope with her.

  • You do realize that you're coming across as a poor,Jealous, Tired of his existence human being, Right ? Jealously in real life is bad enough but to behave like an Idiot through the INTERNET and then insult the person who told you the truth to your face is just embarassing yourself. Does the fact that people get more attention than you really bother you that much ? You called everybody "kids" but you're the one behaving like a child who's brain stopped working a long time ago.
