Hard Choices

edited March 2014 in The Walking Dead

What's the most hard choices you made in The Walking Dead Season One and Two? Mines from Season One:''Giving some rations to Larry, trying to save Larry, letting cannibals live, refusing stealing supplies from that station wagon, letting Lilly stay in the RV, talking to Kenny about stopping the train instead of fighting him, cutting my arm off and telling Clem to leave me.'' Season Two:''Putting Sam out of his misery, choosing between Kenny and Luke for dinner table part.'' Alt text

  • The hardest choice was choosing between Kenny or Luke which I chose Kenny and felt bad about it.And kept the arm and told her to leave me.

  • That picture though :'(

  • choosing wat table TO SIT at.

  • What weapon to use in S1e3 =DD

  • The face they make if you choose the other one. :'(

  • Season 1 was dropping Ben. My reasons for doing it were sound, though they turned out to be wrong in the end (it was nothing to do with hating him or wanting revenge, or just because Kenny told me to).

Season 2 was saving Pete or Nick. There were good reasons for saving or leaving both of them, but in the end I went over to Pete.

  • Heartbreaking :'(

    1. Choosing who to give the food to: Clem, Duck(only way to feed Kenny), Kenny, Mark(first I tried Carley but she gave it back)
    2. Choosing whether or not to cut off the arm: Didn't
    3. Choosing between Nick and Pete: Nick (chose Pete first but then I noticed the leg...)
    4. Choosing to sit with Luke or Kenny: Luke (I felt realllyy bad though!!)

And as a fun one-> whether or not to high-five Duck: Did

  • Dropping Ben was my biggest regret. He was one of my favorite characters.
The choice that took the longest was the dinner table one in the latest episode, and I sat with Kenny but don't really regret it.

  • For me was if I should drop Ben or not

  • helping Kenny killing Larry, not killing the st. john's brothers (what they did was horrific, they desved to die), telling Clementine I couldn't look for her parents (out of fear of the stranger), telling Clementine to shoot Lee. season 2: killing Sam out of Mercy, getting in between Carlos and Sarah, choosing between Luke and Kenny (went with Luke), choosing not to give up, to look for Kenny and Luke (I assumed wrong, I thought those people were dead anyway, I didn't realise that I could save Alvin)

    Saving ben or not.

Choosing to try and save larry or kill larry(I choose kill because Kenny is my homie lol)

Choosing whether to leave clem at the house or bring her to Crawford

choosing whether to to with nick or pete(hard choice but I went with nick mostly because pete was bit)

Now the hardest choice for me has got to be choosing Kenny or Luke because I love bother their characters but I had to go with Kenny simply because it was the first time we had seen Kenny and we thought he was dead.

seems like Season 2 the choices are getting harder

  • Choosing how to ration the food was difficult. I was friends with Kenny but he wouldn't take the food unless duck would, and I didn't really like Duck all that much...

Choosing on whether or not to take the car rations. Clem was the biggest factor in this. Me in real life? It wouldn't have been a decision or debate. That stuff would have been mine along with as many parts from the car as I could take. But having this little girl telling you that it's wrong and knowing she means the world to you made it difficult. I finally reasoned with, "she needs to know that this is the way of the world now."

Choosing on whether to kill the last guy on the farm was a tough one. I stuck the first one like a pig, without even a second thought about it. He pointed a rifle at me, therefore, all bets were off. But deciding whether to beat the other to death was tough. I finally decided not to because, again, Clem was there. A little girl does not need to see a man beat to death by the father figure in her life when we all knew he was going to die anyway.

Cutting off the arm was really difficult. I finally decided that if I even thought it would help, at that point, any hope was good enough and I did it. For clem.

Telling Kenny whether to shoot or not was difficult. I decided to tell him to shoot every time because in my mind I wasn't going down without a fight (and I thought Kenny would be a better shot to be honest).

  • Season 1: Carley/Doug, Killing Larry, handing out rations, killing The St. John's, leaving Lilly or not, who took care of the boy in the attic, to reveal my bite or not, to cut off my arm or not, to kill the stranger, to kill Stephanie or leave.

Season 2: To give Victor Water, Pete or Nick, who to sit next to at dinner, to golfing Kenny.

A few that I agonized over...

    • Meat Locker: I agonized like crazy over this. Eventually, cold pragmatism won out and I helped kill Larry.
    • Crawford: I chose to save Ben.
    • Told Clementine to leave me. The way I see it, once Lee is dead he wouldn't much care if he's a walker or not.
    • Lie to Walter or tell the truth: I told the truth. Walt seemed the forgiving type and I figured the news would go over better if Clem delivered it first. It would reduce the chance of Nick cocking things up further. ;)
  • Totally agree with this. Took me ages to decide.

  • Surprisingly, whether or not to make kenny kill the walker in the attic. I made him do it because I thought it would make him accept Ducks death. Didn't really work.

  • I actually lied to Walter. When I saw him with that knife I was like " This guy is fucking nuts" and was hoping Clem wouldn't get stabbed.

  • He did have that...look about him, but I figured he wouldn't shank the messenger, especially since said messenger is eleven. I still prefaced the conversation by asking him to put the knife down, though. :)

In one of my playthroughs, I went alone to search for Clementine and cringed when the option to cut my arm off still showed up. I still tried it... a lot of good that did.

    Season 1:
To help Kenny or Lilly in the meatlocker: Lilly
    Carley or Doug: Carley
To have Clementine shoot or leave Lee: Had her shoot me as a last favor to Lee + I figured that Clementine would prefer him being dead in peace over being a handcuffed walker
Oh, and to steal from the car or not hehe! (I stole though...)

    Season 2:
To sit with Kenny or Luke: Kenny because I felt like I should catch up with him, felt a bit bad about it though.
Give water to the dying dude or not: gave him the water in hope that he would tell me about Christa
Surrender or look for Kenny and Luke

  • Stealing from the car and choosing to find Kenny and Luke. Those were the two hardest decisions for me.

  • edited March 2014

Season One: helping kill Larry (even though he was a prick to me I felt bad for him and Lily), not killing the St. John's (considering Clem was watching), and telling Clem to shoot me.

Season two; Taking the blame for the photo of Sarah, and sitting with Kenny or Luke.

  • For me, in Season 2, it was whether or not we should shoot Carver. I eventually grabbed the gun.

  • Taking Clementine to Crawford. It definitely didn't sound like a place for children, but I eventually reasoned that I would rather have her with me so I could keep an eye on her, as opposed to constantly worrying about her back at the house. Once I found out it was overrun by walkers, I felt much better about it.

  • I don't think taking blame for Sarah picture was not that hard. Unless you hate her of course.

"cutting MY arm off and telling Clem to leave ME" ?

Lee is that you? XD XD XD XD

    (?) I'm gonna remember that

Well in season 1 - siding with Kenny ( I really wanted to side most of the time with Kenny and be best bros, but most of the time he was wrong :D ) , Larry situation, Stealing the supplies , cut the arm , making clem shoot or leave Lee (most of the time I didn't click any of the 2 options, cuz I wanted Clem to choose whether to shoot me or leave me, so I can see how I taught her)
season 2 - the dog situation, where to sit :D, chopping Sarita's arm and maybe many many more decisions I can't remember at this time :D

  • I kept the arm and told Clem to shoot me..
