I actually laughed out loud when I saw Kenny giving me shit in the preview. Just like old times.
I was doing what was safest for Clem.. I went out the back window and found kenny, Giving myself up would of put Clem in danger (alternatively Carver uses her for a meat shield anyway).. I wasn't sure but i took a guess that Carver wouldn't kill Carlos because he needed a doctor for when Rebecca was going to give birth. My Clem doesn't just give up to the bad guys that easy, she's smarter than that
I wanted to go find Luke & Kenny, but I gave in to prevent Carlos from taking anymore torture. I felt conflicted about it to the point that I wanted to rewind the episode to redo it. However, when Kenny started berating Clem in the trailer for episode 3, I felt defensive about my choice. I felt like I did the right thing, so I decided to live with my decision regardless of how Kenny felt about it.
I went to find Kenny and Luke. I figured Carver wasn't going to kill the only doctor until after the babys birth. I also figured the more people on the outside to help, the better. Ofcourse when Kenny goes trigger happy with the gun, I chose to grab the gun to spare Alvins life. Carver had already made his point - an eye for an eye - he'd just keep shooting. Luke is still out there somewhere though! He will come to our rescue.
Well, what else would he be able to do? Sit out there and do nothing? It was pretty much his only option, which is why I gave up; what was I going to do out there?
I went to find Kenny, mostly in order to keep him from doing something stupid...which he did anyway. Honestly, who in their right mind woul… mored kill one of Carver's guys. Kenny managed to alert Carver to his presence AND royally piss him off at the same time. If Kenny held his fire Walt would have survived.

Everytime I read one of your comments I am always wondering from which country you are. I mean no offense, but I always need to read it a couple of times to grap the sense of it. Do you use google translate or is it just me (as I am not a native speaker) and the lack of punctuation that makes it so incomprehensible?
Surrender my Clem that was not badass I created Kenny risked his life for someone he hated in ben true hero so I would always risk everythin… moreg for him. Clem a hero the walking dead deserves not want. Look at Lee did he risk his life and the groups by finding Clem. Being a hero all about making hard decisions no ones bullying my clem or controlling her.

You have the opportunity to save Alvin in both situations, though i cant speak for later episodes, many of us think he and Nick is a dead man walking cuz of their detirminant status.
Find Kenny and his holy moustache of-course....admittedly...i now regret that choice. Mainly... to be honest.... because i didn't give a cra… morep about Carlos, still don't the guys an idiot and a prick (not to mention the worst doctor iv'e ever heard of by a long shot), but i feel now like i should have surrendered, then maybe alvin would still be alive....cries over key board.

Yep and it was when that happened that my feelings for Carver went from apathy to unbridled hatred. Nobody hits Clem, and if they do I usually shoot them.
Ha i did that on another save file. But there are sad consequences for that. I imagine carver will hate the shit out of you next episode if you were out there while kenny did that. Just a hunch though.
I nearly froze up while the timer was running, weighing both options in my head. Then when the timer was almost out Rebecca goes, "JUST GO, CLEMENTINE!" and I snapped out of it. No way was I just going to fit into that asshole's plans, he is a smart man and clearly thinks he has people figured out to a science. Sneaking out to find Kenny was worth it for the shot we took on Carver, even if Alvin got killed. Kenny admitted it was a tough shot, I was proud that he even connected with the target. It was just supreme bad luck that the bullet only hit his shoulder. Just to think, all the future conflict we could have avoided with a well-placed lung/head shot...
I just went by real-life logic in that you should never surrender to hostage takers. The reason for this is because I had no idea what Carver intended to do when he had everyone tied up - for all I knew he would have just killed all of us and gone on his merry way.
I also told Kenny to shoot Carver for the same reason - if a person is pointing a gun at someone else, then you have to assume that they fully intend to kill them. It was just unlucky that Carver survived and went on to kill Alvin.
If I had a choice as to whether or not to surrender after that, I still wouldn't have. The only reason Carver didn't just murder everyone after Kenny surrendered is pure luck - nothing more.

Second playthrough, in the 'Next time on TWD...' it shows Kenny really pissed at Clementine because she surrendered. Which goes to show, he still hasn't really changed. (What an asshole. And he wonders why Clementine wants to sit with Luke!)

Surrendered. I thought if I didn't surrender, Carlos would die. But I managed to keep everyone who could survive alive, so I'm happy with my choice.
I went for Kenny and Luke I assume those people were dead, but once I found what happen I went back and surrender, and I was very happy I did so..
