It's funny because there are a few tidbits in the game that can be seen as proof of it, for example, Nick's watch being in Luke's room, where there's one bed with two pillows.

I actually shipped Lee and Lilly a little bit until it became REALLY obvious that Carley was all over him. Lee seemed to be Lilly last friend on earth (I couldn't saltlick Larry with Clem looking). Then Lilly went nuts and shot Carley, and I kissed Lee's sex life goodbye. Also, I totally shipped Carley and Doug in episode one. Who wouldn't?
