Telltale is the only reason I lift my head from Dark Souls. Lost my girl and many friends over the past couple months because of these arguably abusive and oddly codependent love for TTG and DS2. Not proud.
Well you know how it is with some people: it's easier for them to convince themselves they're really important online than it is to admit how useless they are in real ife.
If only he understood Pete's advice to Nick before he died...
Wait you mean this guy is.....OH .....okay didn't know that So its okay to post his vids so long as we dont talk about the "situation" that he caused so to speak?

Yup... Job gets excited pretty easy. But there is more to come before the episode launches!
I cannot freakin' WAIT for you guys to play t… morehis (personally, I think it may even be better than the season premiere). I didn't get a chance to play this episode until it was almost done, and it kinda blew me away. Some truly awesome moments are coming up.

this tweet is basically the same as the twd 'around the corner' tweet. and that episode was released about a month later.

Which was posted two weeks before the official release.
So, no way
some of us don't like seeing the same old arguments posted over and over,
it's like those people have -100 common sense, or no concept of business or even understand episodic gaming, or even how ttg operate, they don't take any time to think about what they are buying they just assume it's like every other game out there and then after they have put money down THEN decide to start looking up on what to expect.
Milo... close your eyes or skip the comment.. what you just described it still no excuse for personal attacks... and kat... I called you judgemental. Which is a fact based on your previous comment. So your argument is invalid.

Since the beginning (online gaming, ie The Realm or just video games) the forums have been flooded with bitching and moaning from fans when developers say the word " SOON ". I,ve been there done that and still chuckle after all these years as the syndrome continues. Perhaps the solution is to have enough toys or things in one's life so the waiting doesn't, become a frustration (your life).
I could be wrong - and usually I am, but just my 2 cents. Happy gaming.
Not only did I not deny being judgmental, but I wasn't even making an argument. And the mention of the word 'useless' is pretty vague with respect to people, so try not to be so bothered by anonymous commentary.

He incorporated the "They need to apologize at the very least. They must feel like idiots" from my comment on page 30! That's really cool! 0:26 is when he says it in the video btw.
I'm just grateful that we got something. Something's better than nothing.
Although I guess the wait isn't killing me as much since I'm slowly getting through season one of the walking dead in the meantime.
not me.....that's like a guy going to a strip club and saying I just want some more sexual frustration and tension coursing through my veins in disappointing anticipation of the real thing, Yeah that's what we all want. Gimmie some of that.....lol ALL I WANT TO HEAR IS THE ANNOUNCEMENT FOR WHEN IT IS AVAILIABLE TO PLAY...until then I will completely forget about it so no frustration and aggravation that hyp announcements and trailers often reward us with...........But that's just me.
While the picture is of the most badass of badassness in all the land, pretty much all of us would like some more screens or a trailer, Telltale.
Pretty please? With a magic mirror on top?
Not only did I not deny being judgmental, but I wasn't even making an argument. And the mention of the word 'useless' is pretty vague with respect to people, so try not to be so bothered by anonymous commentary.
Just wanted to leave a quick comment about Telltale and the lack of news surrounding release dates. Not that it addresses keeping us informed of development etc.
But I digress . . .
Anyway, we all know Telltale doesn't give release dates until they're certain because they need to wait for Microsoft, Sony etc. to approve their games. I understood this, but I didn't understand how finicky the app stores/sony etc. can be until a few days ago.
Firstly though, does anyone play the 'choice of' games for Android, iOS and Google Chrome? Basically interactive, text based stories. with stats. http://www.choiceofgames.com/ (Some can be played for free, and if you fancy it, you can have a go at designing a story/game yourself and they'll sell it for you).
So . . . about a week ago, a game/story called 'Choice of the Rockstar' was supposed to be released. It came to the release date and Apple weren't approving the title. The release date was then moved to yesterday. The app hasn't even been reviewed. Now the app's release date is set for the 11th of April.
So, I think that might help to show why Telltale don't come out and give release dates until they're sure.
The way I see it, they have two choices:
1) Post a release date and run the risk of disappointing people. I think people would be quite annoyed (at least the not so rational ones or ones who don't take games seriously, as I was okay with Choice of the Rockstar being delayed, though I was obviously a bit disappointed).
2) They keep quiet until they're sure of release dates, which is what they do.
Again, this doesn't address them not keeping people informed as to development and any issues that crop up which might cause a delay. But it's my hope that it at least shows why they're slow to announce release dates. Personally, I think it's a no-win situation for them.
If it's finished and has been certified in Australia though, I honestly don't think it'll be too long at all.
Hey folks.

They always release screens and covers when they are a week or two close to release

meh fine that time it was early

I don't take so well to people who take personal shots at someone for having an opinion.

TT changed their twitter picture back to TWAU. All the right moves are being made now.

You have got to be kidding me if that are the way you actually speak.
Actually when that something is actually nothing......well its not better than nothing. IT IS NOTHING, which IMHO is worse.

My comment on page 29 has been paraphrased..... I don't know how to feel about this.
Plus, pretty much everything he said is true.
Yeah, but not soon enough.
Sadly. The sooner it starts, the sooner the episode arrives. Thanks for the heads-up, though.
Remeber that 'sooner than you think' talk? Is it only me that thought ep3 should have being released already? : (
