What if Lee had survived and Clem had not?
If that had happened, I would have played Lee much more like Joel in TLOU. In Season 1, my Lee thought of others before himself, gave people the benefit of the doubt, and tried to make peace wherever he could. If Clem died because Lee couldn't bring himself to kill someone that would later kill Clem, he would be forever changed. Let's say he met another little girl who he has sworn to protect. My Lee would never take a chance. If someone broke into our camp, their dead. If someone's holding a gun at my head, their not getting away. Lee would do anything to protect this new little girl and do what he failed to do with Clem. No matter what the cost.

If Clem had died, there would be no point of the game.
Also, he'd grow a kickass beard that would make Kenny's look stupid!
That's one way of looking at it. But in my opinion, Season 1 was not about Lee protecting Clem just because, it was about Lee's redemption. If Clem died, Lee failed, yeah, but he still tried. And in my book, he'd still be guilty, but he knows this time he will succeed.
Lee would be depressed as hell where he would probably comit suicide I mean he did say he was going to protect her no matter what.
It was about Lee getting another change by protecting something as innocent as a child. He was Clementines guardian angle and he died when his mission was done, when Clementine could make it on her own.
That's not true, as much as Clem is a big part of the game, if she had died we would move on with the story just like we did with Lee.
I picture the scene(by the way, this is just what if. I'm glad this didn't happen): Lee is in the middle of the woods. He has a kickass beard and is depressed. He loads his gun, ready to commit suicide, when he hears a gunshot not far from him. He goes to check it out and sees a little girl watching her parents get devoured by walkers. Lee jumps in to save her. Que Lee's new reason to live.
Woah That would be Deja Vu for him...
The game would be even more depressing than it already is. Lee would have nothing to live for.
There wouldn't be a season 2. I mean without Clementine... who are we saving? Who do we even care for? This is why I think there will never be a season without Clementine. It'd be a dumb move to cancel Clementine's story, it just wouldn't make any sense.
It's just a what-if. I am glad they went the route they did. Da feels:((((
Lee would have killed himself anyways. He would have had no reason to keep living. If you fail to save Clem in the drug store then Lee just gives up and stops there and lets himself get killed by a walker.
If Clem had died then fuuuuccckkkkkkk telltale
Lee would be the most depressing character ever....even more depressed than Ethan Mars.....he would probably go to a prison and lock himself up because he couldn't protect the ones he loved and since he was going to prison before the whole thing. Then he would hang himself 3 days later
I don't know why but I had a horrible dream the first week of S1's ending. It involved the Stranger killing Clementine, Lee throwing the bastard out of a window into the walker-infested streets, Lee carrying Clem's body through the walkers, only to discover she's reanimated and is attempting to bite him. He sees a pair of walkers he remembers as her parents, sets her down, and just stops moving while they walk towards him. It was way too real for comfort.
Now that would of been an even sadder ending.
Da feels....
Would've been a nice story as well.
I would play my Lee going off the deep end.
He would turn into a man who only has survival to think about. Take anything from others. Do what he wants. Screw people over. No real reason or purpose to live.
Sorry. What I meant was that I agree with the people who say that without Clementine, Lee is just some guy trying to survive.
