Yeah, I know what you mean. revealing a main character as gay is always a big step. Still, something inside of me has this little hope ... I mean, it doesn't even have to be Luke and Nick. If another couple would show up (And having interactions, of course), I'd still be happy about it. But revealing a main character as gay, after people build their opinion on them, this is something we need more in media. As an example, Naughty Dog did an excellent job with that and yeah, they got a lot of negative reactions, but also a lot of good ones.
I just hope TTG is better than gay jokes and hinting.
I think they might hint at it some more, but I doubt they'd make it canon. They made Walter and Matthew vague enough that the haters didn't … moreeven realize, if they actually did anything with Luke and Nick, it would probably be even vaguer and more subtexty than that due to how important their characters are and how in the spotlight they are. To the point were people would still be able to say "They are just good friends!"
I would be very happy to be proven wrong though. I wasn't expecting a gay couple in the game at all, so who knows what Telltale might end up doing. I can already envision some of the negative comments that might arise from such a development though
Or they could end up "Pulling a Dumbledore" and revealing they were in a relationship long after they are both dead :P
episode 203 will focus on life or death situations. The player will play as 11 year old Clementine who will have to choose who she trusts. As Clementine it is up to you to keep her safe from harm. Many who arrive at carver's camp survives. Carver is the governor of the game because they both have that law where if you try to leave or not follow the rules you could be killed. I reckon this will be a excellent episode. 203 setting will be Carver's camp/mall. We will go to the woods and mountains in episode 204. This 90 minute episode is worth the wait, and will be enough to wait for the next episode. Thurday May 1st- Screenshot, Saturday May 3rd- Playing Dead/Sneek peek, Tuesday/Weds- 6th/7th episode 203 release. This is what I predict.
I completely agree. It was cool having Walt and Matthew, but they didn't have much time to develop their characters (and they never interacted on screen), and so a lot of people see them as "that gay couple" rather than characters in their own right.
With Luke and Nick it would be different since we know both of the characters at this point, and as you said, we have an opinion on them already that wouldn't really change if they were revealed to be more than friends. And yeah, what Naughty Dog did was brilliant, with both Ellie and Bill.

Nope. Mainly because of that shitty grin at Clem's reaction to him shooting Johnny. And the fact that he can get Alvin killed in a heartbeat, but anyone else? Fuck no.
Your points are reasonable, but why would Telltale add all of that in if it wasn't hinting at him having a few screws loose? Just to make people hate him more? That seems like a waste of character potential to me. What about you?
I hope there's some explanation to what happened to him because maybe it would explain why he seems to regret saving Ben. He probably knows what he did is right deep down inside, but he doesn't want to admit it. Or perhaps he questioned himself about if it was right or not afterwards. Either way, he still did it, and I'd rather that whole ordeal of his be explored, because just forgetting about that and making Kenny his same old dickish self....That, to me, is a huge waste of a character. Kenny shouldn't be Telltale's go-to twd douchebag. =/
I suppose that the irritable thing makes a little sense. Though after a year or so of being alone (which is very possible), people might irr… moreitate you more. As for the paranoia, the shit with Vernon must've left a mark. Kenny has never been that trusting, and I don't think that he thinks Clem is good at judging character, due to the Campman incident. On top of the fact that even she didn't seem too sure about Luke.
Sarita has neither a similar body nor a similar voice. Even if she did, maybe that's what Kenny finds attractive. Clementine was usually seen near Duck, or she talked about Duck. And Kenny didn't talk to her much. It isn't a stretch to say that he associated her with his little boy, and considering the fact that she only was with him for five days after his boy died, it's definite to say that the association never left. Granted, he associated her with Lee more, but that means little. Again, after being alone for so long, your hum… [view original content]
I'm not against it, but I don't really play on Steam or PSN. And something tells me getting in Vent or Mumble with some of you would be a lot of "Dance, monkey! Dance!"
I dunno, that inherent conflict makes the game interesting. An NPC siding with the PC all the time? Sounds pretty boring to me. Not that I mind that you don't like Kenny...
Yea I saw it too (you got the right idea but that's not what he meant, or maybe I'm just misinterpreting your comment) , but you make him mean just for you to hate him more? I mean I understand if it were something like Larry's incident then who wouldn't go against him but you sound like "I hate this guy, I'm gonna go beat him up" (minutes later other guy fights back) "THIS GUY IS SUCH A HORRIBLE PERSON, LOOK WHAT HE DID TO ME, HOW COULD ANYONE LIKE THIS GUY!?"
I meant if you make him. Gavin said somewhere in this very thread something like Kenny getting mad at the player for not doing what he wants will come back with a force. So in a way, he sure fuckin will be mean to Clem. Especially my Clem.
He didn't know who Carver was and how he would react to Johnny's death, we can all agree Kenny is stubborn and thought he could kill hill Carver but he didn't and he could've got Al killed (obviously determinant)

Oh, trust me, of everything I dislike him for, this is the least of it. But still, the way he smiled at Clem's genuine fear makes me dislike him that much more.

Well, Kenny's episode last Season was also Season 3, where they took away everything he had except his mustache and his hat.
Dear lord. What if they shave him this time around and finish what they began in Long Road Ahead?
What is most worst thing you dislike about him? For me it's killing Larry, he wouldn't help you afterwards for a bit after that, the problem with Beatrice, and where he isn't sure of coming with you to find Clem because you weren't ALWAYS siding with him (the only thing I didn't side with him is killing Larry and leaving Beatrice and he was unsure of coming with me)

I don't really care that if you don't always side with him that he says fuck off. In some cases, he should say that. Like if you tried to throw out Duck. But as for the Larry thing, I don't mind him killing Larry. In his eyes it was necessary. Leaving Lee under the door was not.

Yea I would've helped him with Larry if Clem and Lily weren't there, and damn I wanted to push him off the train so bad for leaving Lee under the door, until his family died.....

RELEASE EPISODE 3 OR THIS WILL HAPPEN.

Female: Sorry there is no TWDG news the last few days.
Male: AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH

WOW. I didn't know you voice them, now I see the resemblance.
And they thought I was crazy. XD
I feel like the wait has made some people go crazier than me! O_O
"Calm down, it was a joke."
Oh...
By the way, how are you?
Good. I'm going to miss Azlyn, though :'^(
I dont know how to feel about this one:/ thank god you are not in Telltale. Or are you???
Me too. THE FEELS! I'm actually shedding tears cuz I'm so worried about her safety.
In his defense, if I had to choose a member of their group to just kill off, it'd probably be Alvin too. d:

Nick died in my 2nd save. Regret it. I got Alvin & Nick killed in it.
My main save I got nobody killed.
I'm not against it, but I don't really play on Steam or PSN. And something tells me getting in Vent or Mumble with some of you would be a lot of "Dance, monkey! Dance!"
It certainly would be boring, but it does not make him a loyal person.

This sounds promising, this must be Kenny's episode, or the season of the Kenny. Regardless, I just want to see something fucked up.
He didn't know who Carver was and how he would react to Johnny's death, we can all agree Kenny is stubborn and thought he could kill hill Carver but he didn't and he could've got Al killed (obviously determinant)
Well damn, I left a bad first impression on Gavin, (if he sees this) and a lot of other people too...
Oh, trust me, of everything I dislike him for, this is the least of it. But still, the way he smiled at Clem's genuine fear makes me dislike him that much more.
True, I guess. But still, that grin was too much.
If it wasn't hinting at him having screws loose, it would be to express that he isn't the same man, exactly.
I really don't.

Dear lord. What if they shave him this time around and finish what they began in Long Road Ahead?
Season 3?
Animation for Kenny's beard getting shaven?
He's from the future.
Holy shit that explains so much.
