Peaches and Beans is an actual meal??

Wow i just thought it was something the folks at TT made up to show us that food is scarce and stuff, But turns out Peaches n beans is an actual meal that people in this non zombie world eat......who the hell thought that could work?? it sounds gross.

what other gross food combos are there in this world?

    well would you look at that. I guess the idea is that beans would be slightly bitter and the peaches would be sweet so it would blance each item out so you would not taste more the one of them. but I guess it sounds more of a desert to me instead main meal.

    Nothing wrong with mixing sweet and bitter. Most asian cuisines are a balance between the two. I guess i'm gonna go have to get some Thai right now.

    no nothing wrong with that at all. you just have to be careful that there isn't more of one of the items then the other. the flavour would be one-sided than

    I mean, if you like things like pineapples on pizza and hamburgers, then a similarly sweet fruit on beans actually sounds pretty tasty to me. I'm being as sincere as you can get.

    Try googling "pizza and ice cream". There are apparently people who put the two things together.

    There's also carrots with peanut butter; some might consider that odd. It works surprisingly well though.

    I once made a thread about if people wanted to eat peaches and beans. Personally, I would like to try it. Who knows? Maybe it will keep me fed for a day, like Kenny said. :)

    I tried it, it was a couple days after Episode 2 came out, and all I had left on the shelves was some baked beans and canned peaches. It wasn't that bad, I've had worse.

    2018, I will try peaches and beans right now, for all of you. Wish me luck.

    Update
    So uhm. It's strange. I don't really know if it's good or not, I used a can of low sodium beans and a can of regular sliced peaces. The flavor is strange....

    I just added some salt to it and, yeah. It's not that bad, definitely made it taste better. I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone just 'cause, I was just very curious of what the characters from TWD would've tasted.

    Eat it in a zombie apocalypse, don't eat it just 'cause, go buy a burger instead. Now how am I going to get rid of this bowl of peaches and beans?

    I tried eating it all, made it less than halfway until I felt full. I flushed the rest, I didn't bother saving any. My stomach is just digesting it all. Like a wise man once said "Peaches and Beans. Great for nutrition. Not too great on the way out, though, I tell ya."
    WOW, my stomach like, GROWLED AT ME.
