I just replayed all that I have of season 2 and something caught my eye - When everyone leaves their weapons in the ski lodge I could see Matthew's knife sticking out of Clem's bag! Just before the storm is coming Kenny has to get his rifle , then Bonnie arrives , after that Kenny says he must speak to Walter, did Kenny give the knife to him? Now I don't know who to trust -see my other comment
The thing that bothers me about Kenny is I had his back the entire game, meat locker, the pharmacy in Macon, when Duck needed to be shot, bu… moret THE ONE TIME I didnt have his back was at Hershel's farm (Kenny was around to help Duck, and no one was around to help Shawn!), and I didn't let Ben die (Clem does NOT need to hear of another death).
And I never got the bro speech, he never helped me to get Clem back! If Clem knew, I doubt she'd want him to be with her either!
Disclaimer : Not a fan of Kenny. At all.
Kenny to me can be extremely petty. For example: In one of my playthroughs, at the St. John's … moreI tried to resuscitate Larry. Then when the St. John brother attacks Lee by the fence, Kenny just stands by and watches while Lee gets pummeled. Granted, Lily helps Lee but the fact that someone would be so petty about not getting their way in a dire situation like this makes a character extremely unlikeable to me. He was willing to let Lee get injured because he didn't get the validation in his choices that he wanted. And in S2E2 during dinner when you pick sides, my Clem obviously picked Luke's table which didn't set well with Kenny. A grown ass man is going to 'remember' that an eleven year old picked a different person to eat with than him. Also, the way he interacted with Luke and Nick was extremely hostile, and the way he talked to Sarita is so far from okay despite the fact that she just views it as "gentlemanly".
"I have a lot of pain inside me lee. I wanna let even a little bit out" I'm guessing episode 3 is where he lets his pain out? Maybe that's why he snaps
Kenny didn't desert Lee, not in my play through.
My Lee and Kenny were pals.
And also he did not desert Clementine. In season 1, he got separated from the others.
And in season 2, when Carver took everyone hostage, Kenny stuck around and tried to save them, including Clementine, if the player chose to surrender.
Unlike Luke, who was nowhere to be found, Kenny had Clementine's back when it mattered!

When does he ditch you exactly? I think he only decides to not help you if you weren't on good standings with him. If you assisted him in the meat locker and Hershel's farm while generally being good with him, he'll look out for you in season 1.
He does so in two episodes. In the second episode of season one, Lee was nearly killed by Danny with the rifle and Kenny just stood there. In the third episode, Kenny refused to help Lee in the first action scene, Lee was nearly killed and he told Kenny "Fuck was that?". Kenny argued "You took care of yourself didn't you?"

You are wrong. It was easy to predict Kenny would save Duck, which is why many of us helped Shawn. You would abandon Shawn to die simply so Duck can have two people save him simultaneously.
As for everything else, with the exception of wanting to stock up on supplies to save Omid before finding a boat, I ALWAYS sided with Kenny. Thus Kenny abandoned Lee's quest to save a little girl... despite Lee having defended Duck in the pharmacy, killed Larry, executed Duck, executed the boy, helped him with the boat when not concerned with a wounded Omid, sided with him against Lily, etc., the list goes on.
PS. Actually like Kenny. But he is not rational and can be very selfish for his own family. Thankfully he finally considers Clem family now, and is being very kind to her now
Look, its not our fault you chose not to save a kid or were too timid to help finish off Larry.
Kenny "fans" like Kenny because he is s… moreolid. He is a loose cannon, but solid when you need him the most.
So yes, I will be backing his every move in the next episode and hopefully we can make it out unscathed.
He's much better this season, partly because he and Clem are family and old friends now, partly because Clem is Duck's surrogate.
He's a good man, but he is selfish for his family. We just happen to be part of it now.
Can we trust Kenny? Kenny is the only one we can trust! Imo, I don't trust anyone. Even in real life I don't trust anyone but family and that's what Kenny is now, Clem's family.
I'm sorry, but I couldn't kill Larry with Clem watching. Had Duck been there in the room, he'd hold off. Duck was clearly bitten and he was more than willing to risk everyone cause he was in denial. Yeah, it was his kid, and I respect him for finally dealing with it, but he's not solid. And Duck had his Dad at hand in the farm, but Shawn's dad was gone. Plus, at that point, I owed Shawn one.

For Kenny Clem's live is more valuable than his own.
He already proved taking that walkie from her and giving it to Carver, he would've die if Bonnie didn't react and he dealt with it. He wouldn't have say "...heh. Fucker" to Carver if he didn't deal with it.

Luke is a great character although still need's development

I mean, he did nearly get killed so Clem wouldn't.
