400 Days Characters?

How do you think (if at all) the 5 playable and other side characters will play a part in E4 or 5? Like, we see Eddie standing behind Clem in the E4 title slide, but how much of a significant place will he have? Will Nate appear?

Hopefully there is more to the 400 Days characters than just one line cameos.

  • I've been thinking that possibly whoever went with Tavia in 400 days and are now at Carvers camp, I have a feeling that them and Tavia will go after Clems group and they'll either want to join them or kill them.

As for Eddie and Nate I am not sure how they will appear but I hope they do, now I don't think it was his truck but in the teaser for episode 4 you see Clementine and Jane hiding behind a beat up pick up truck that looks like the one that Nate drives.
  • Maybe. He could be there. Maybe it's just a truck. And yes, they probably will want to kill them.

  • I hope we see more of the 400 days people in ep4 and or ep5. I liked them all. Hated Bonnie for a bit after s2ep2 but now after ep3 I like her again.

In my play through, all of the characters from 400 days make cameos as a part of the Carver group. If i remember right, some choose to not go to the camp in my game. So that was odd.

But that whole 400 days thing seems like its just going to be like a Lawrence situation from the Wolf Among us where he was just haphazardly thrown in there to write him off an get players to stop thinking about him. Perhaps 400 days was important to TWDS2 at some point, but now my feeling is that the events that occurred wont have much bearing on S2. We probably wont see any of the characters besides bonnie again.

After episode 3 I'm starting to think that 400 days is not as big to TWDG as it first seemed, otherwise the other 400 days characters who went to the camp would have had more involvement in episode 3, instead of just having a few seconds of screen time. It's a shame if that's the end of them because I was really looking forward to seeing how they'd come into the story and interact with Clem.

  • I feel the same. In some ways, its cheap for TT to make 400 days out to be something it wasn't. But oh well.

  • I agree. Especially since those characters had some interesting story arcs. It would be a waste of potential if they won't show up ever again.

It sure would, long before season 2 came out I thought that the 400 days characters would be the main group for season 2 and that would be who Clem would meet up with, but season 2 ended up with it's own story with the cabin people and Carver which leaves 400 days as a side story with hardly any relevance.
