First it was Carver but now how come Reggie didn't ask about Nick's mother

Ok so we know the Cabin group had already lost 2 members (Nick's mother and someone else who had already been bit). How come Reggie asks for Nick's uncle but not his mother?

    Maybe it happened before they left carver's camp? or even before they were there I dont remember if they ever said it happened exactly in the cabin

    I thought that the incident with Nick's mom happened before camp Carver, that's why Reggie knows his uncle and not his mom, that's the way I understood it.

    Good question, but maybe she died when they were with Carvers group still?

    It's possible they met up with Nick's mom after they escaped (Pete said he lost his sister recently, iirc). It'd probably help to specify that of course.
