I know this is kind of late reply but for Tales from the Borderlands, on Telltale's website they said they are working with the developers of Borderlands (2K) and that the story line in the game is taking place AFTER what happened in Borderlands 2.
I don't know. For now I'm not exactly interested in Telltale's Borderlands. I'm more curious about Game of Thrones. Of course I'm even more curious if there will be season 3 for TWD. :D
As I posted somewhere on this same thread: no episode will be released during Steam Summer Sales. And if Telltale is trying to keep up with dates, than TWAU should be finished before the sales (after the sales would be a little too much time, IMO)

yeah, i counted, telltale said they will end TWD season 2 and TWAU season 1 at the end of summer, last time TWAU was released on 15 april, TWD released 13 may, now TWAU ep 4 released on 26 that means TWD will be on 24 june, than TWAU early July and in the end TWD Ep 5 Late July Early August
