Why didn't the majority do this?

  • Yeah, lighting the cigarette seems like a badass way to end the episode. If you pick the option to threaten him (which I did on my second playthrough for the Book of Fables)... it just lacks that badassery... if that makes any sense.

  • Well it was still kinda badass but it's just much more awesome to just quietly light a cigarette.

  • It actually shocked ME that most people didn't choose "Alright, talk." at the end of the episode.

Seriously, what the fuck? You're in the Crooked Man's territory, don't be stupid and immediately act out. The guy just wants a conversation, I ain't gonna deny him that.

And with Colin and Toad - duh, I defended them. They're my friends (I personally LOVE Toad). I gave him Crane's money as soon as I could. Go get that glamour, buddy! :')

  • But I went to the butcher shop first and still had the option to give him the money.

I noticed this too, but on my second playthrough I found out that you have to have gone to the Lucky Pawn first and talked to him about his glamour there for the option to come up.

  • Yes, I lit the cigarette because /sassy smoking Bigby is a huge theme of every episode/ and was surprised it was a smaller percentage, haha.

The first one, I couldn't understand that neither, why hurt Colin? Second one, yes, I think many players didn't take the money or they were

  • Toad and Colin are both pretty annoying sometimes (Toad more especially) but the Farm seems like a bad place and I want to be a loyal friend. Especially after the speech Nerissa made, where I should be trying to keep my friends safe.

  • The thing is safety doesn't mean agreeing with them. Colin can protect you by waking you up if there is trouble and you would be able to protect Colin. But the only way to fully protect Toad is sending him to the Farm, and the friend part is allowing a return.

  • Huh. I did my first playthrough, and the option wasn't there. There's got to be a specific set of prerequisites or something.

  • That was an awesome ending. I just felt like threats or an attack wasn't going to get me anywhere. Plus, any minutes I can take to get Bigby healed up are even better.

    Also loving your avatar. :D

  • We match here except for Colin. He's been too much of an ass for me to let him stay, even if he was standing up for Bigby. I like Toad for whatever reason, and I remembered that he does have a family to take care of.

  • He never finishes the rides and chooses a good place to escape each time. It ends when Snow has to punish her sister, and Colin sneaks out of the safe spots. Colin is less foolish than Toad, but just as stubborn.

  • yeah, way cooler to light a cigarette than get angry

maybe you had to take cranes money from both places, because toad said i didn't have enough when i first offered to pay at the pawn shop

No shit, I did, but when I was talking to Toad there never came up an option to give Toad money. Just dialogue.

  • I sided with Colin. Friendship always trumps orders, unless the guy is going out of his way not to be an unrepentant asshole. Seeing as Colin is no wear near that, no need to falsely punish him.

Toad... I pretty much had enough of him by that point. He's done nothing to help his case from Ep 1 on, no matter how many times I gave him a chance, so I sent him to the farm. He's only got himself to blame in my opinion.

Final conversation, I was willing to talk it out. Still expecting things to fly out of control in the final episode though.

  • I was actually wondering about that as well. Was very surprised when I was always the minority on every single decisions.

I really like Snow and I understand that she was just trying to follow the rules more than normal since she's taken leadership now. But I still think friendship should sometimes be valued more than rules. Plus, I blew his house away.

I kept the money from Crane's pocket and gave it to Toad. It's Fabletown money anyways. I did feel bad for trashing his apartment too.

And lastly, this is odd.. but I didn't threaten the Crooked Man. And I got the "You and 19.7% decided to talk to the Crooked man first" So I guess 80.3% threatened the Crooked Man? But you said only 21% people decided to threaten him, so I guess a lot of people decided to threaten him later on?

  • If they didn't make something like "your life may be in danger" transparent with Toad, then it shouldn't influence my decision. Between visiting the business office to deal with Toad and towards the end, Bigby has nothing Bloody Mary or the Crooked Man want. She's got silver bullets, resistance to magic and so forth, so she shouldn't feel like she has to draw Bigby out by taking a hostage. That's assuming she even wanted to find Bigby in the first place, but if she really wanted him dead, she'd have phased through the Magic Mirror and slapped Bufkin around for his whereabouts.

There are no mirrors at the Farm and won't be for 20 years. The option I chose was that he could come back.

  • Bloody Mary can never get through the Magic Mirror, she tries but can't. Crane knows where every fable lives, and Bloody Mary never takes hostages, TJ is of no use to her and Toad interfered with Crooky's plans 3 times. Bloody Mary ain't looking for Bigby, but next episode probably.

  • My stats show Bigby helping Colin and Toad in the far majority. I couldnt send Colin to the farm. He had my back, and I gave my money to Toad. As for the last option, I chose to talk to him. Im not there to just beat people up. I want information so I can solve this case. That one was, 17% for me.

  • I smoked at that point. You know what, TCM is a **** and I wasn't going to take any negotiations seriously. And I definitely didn't want him to talk either.
And besides, Bigby is one of the most powerful Fables.

  • I chose: "You're coming with me" at the end, and Bigby was all like: pull out a cigarette. put it in the mouth. "Dead or alive" Now light at the same time as I say "You're coming with me."

  • There is also an option to simply lit a cigarette or the "No. You're coming with me" option.

  • I chose not to send Collin to the farm and told him that Snow would forget about it. Giving Toad the money, in my opinion, was the best way to handle that situation. It satisfied him and got him out of our hair. As for the last choice: Bigby lighting a cigarette is always soooo badass!

yeah, way cooler to light a cigarette than get angry

  • I found it (I think, I went to the Lucky Pawn first). When you first talk to Toad choose whatever dialogue option, then Toad will take his turn to talk. During this just let him go on and on how much damage was done, and a new array of dialogue options eventually comes up and you'll have [Give Toad Cran'es money] as a valid choice. Had to replay the scene to get it right, but it's there. But stupid if you ask me. Should have had it instead of the [...] choice during the first list of dialogue choices.

Huh. I did my first playthrough, and the option wasn't there. There's got to be a specific set of prerequisites or something.

I said to Colin i wouldn't let heim go to the farm. I said to Toad he wouldn't go either. I had the money but no option came up to give him it though. I smoked at the end. No point getting angry.

  • 1)RULES ARE RULES!I didn't do it for Snow, but I chose to sent Collin 'cause rules are rules.
2)I gave Toad money, but it wasn't that dialogue which matter,it was the one in Snow's office. There I didn't have an option to giv money to him and when he mentioned Collin I decided to send him to the farm too.
3)I decided to talk to the Crooked Man,because I wasn,t sure if Bigby could fight with everybody there, plus I think TCM has an ace hidden up his sleeve.

  • For the most part I didn't send Colin to the Farm by choosing the intermediate option (ended up being in line with the comics). Considering what Nerissa said I sent Toad to the Farm with the possibility of returning. The last option I'm choosing everything.

  • I agree I chose Colin over Snow. She was being a major BITCH this episode.

And at the end, when you meet the Crooked Man, I chose to say "Let's talk." and it was so bad ass. Bigby was like "fine. Let's talk." in the most awesome badass voice and then was about to light a cigarette but as soon as his lit the lighter the screen went black. It was awesome.

Idk what any of the other options did, but this one was awesome. Was the "[Light a cigarette]" option or whatever it was the same as what I just explained? Either way, good episode

  • And is it just me, or is anyone else starting to like Nerrisa more than Snow

  • For the final choice, I chose to talk with him because there was no way that they would take Bigby seriously if he just walked in immediately and started threatening them, especially when there were so many of CM's croons there. Besides, talking is the way to get some answers from him, and I'm sure he will reveal some things.

  • Colin is awesome, I'll have you know, lol. And the way he stuck up for Bigby with Snow, almost brought a tear to my eye. I do like Toad even with his temper.

Toad and Colin are both pretty annoying sometimes (Toad more especially) but the Farm seems like a bad place and I want to be a loyal friend. Especially after the speech Nerissa made, where I should be trying to keep my friends safe.

  • My choices:

    • I chose friendship over the rules by letting Colin stay.
    • I did not try to remove Nerissa's ribbon.
    • I went to the luckypawn first.
    • I once again, chose friendship over the rules by letting Toad stay.
    • And I threatened the crooked man.
  • I chose to [smoke].

  • That's what I did, lit a smoke and decided to listen to what this freak has to say before I start kicking his head in. It also helps that he has quite a bit of people in the room too, so I decided to play it cool for the time being.

The first one, I couldn't understand that neither, why hurt Colin? Second one, yes, I think many players didn't take the money or they were

  • I chose not to bring Colin back to the Farm and I did give Toad the money to pay for his glamours. I was surprised that Snow went off like that considering she was not enamored with how Crane ran things. She said she wanted to help Fables when they are in trouble or need assistance but I guess it only applies to fables who can pass as humans.

I did not threaten TCM. He could have had Mary kill Bigby but he did not. Granted the way he runs things is kind of f***ed up and hurts everybody in Fabletown, but I'm willing to listen. My Bigby tried to compromise with Greeny so maybe I could work some things out with CM. I actually lit up (it seemed too long between smoking sessions).

  • It's better in my hands then leaving it for Jersey or Mary though technically it is wrong to just give it away without recording it/filing it in the business office.

SO MANY people seem to have taken the money! Bad, bad people!!! (on the other hand I killed Dum, so I'm bad, too... surprised that there weren't more in the way of consequences fort that action...)

  • The percentage has changed now. A lot more people decided Colin and Toad should stay instead of go to the farm. Like, a 70-80% margin.

  • Majority of the people who let Colin and Mr. Toad stay at the Woodlands either haven't read the comics from the beginning or didn't pay attention to the first episode of the game. Letting them both go unglamoured is like giving a death sentence to Fabletown. Humans would start to know about them and would explore them and their world. I did not let them stay because they would put everyone at risk.
