I'm not sure if it will be 2 years, if they release Borderlands and Game Of Thrones at the same rate that they released TWAU and ,TWD (one game per month) i don't see why they can't release TWD season 3 around Autumn 2015. but it's only a theory and i don't want to get peoples hopes up.
They announced season 2 just after they released episode 2 of season 1 so everyone still had the remaining episodes to play, the wait for season 2 was only around 1 year as season 1 ended in November 2012, we also had 400 days to fill some of the game during the long wait in the middle of last year which also helped.
Lee had a big role to play in season 1 and he did a great job, but now it´s time for Clementine to shine. The story needs to go on without Lee. It would also be very boring and unrealistic if Lee showed up alive.

Lee can survive that infectipn and maybr clementine didnt shoot lee to head , maybe she didnt shoot lee but she shoot wall. We dont know but if clem die in ep5 then Idk who will be. That's my theory.
