Kenny is ok.

So, a lot of people have been arguing about how Kenny fans think that Kenny is a god and all. I'm a fan of him myself, but I admit he has some flaws.
-Not saving Shawn.
Yeah, Kenny could of put Duck down, tell him to run to Katjaa, but he didn't.
-Killing Larry.
Kenny could of let Lilly and Lee try to revive Larry, before smashing Larry's head.
-Not wanting to listen about Duck
Yeah, it was a bit annoying that Kenny kept ignoring that the fact the Duck got bit and even fights Lee for it, but that could go either way if the player wants Lee to fight Kenny.
Now let's see some of the good things that Kenny did.
-Sacrifice himself to Ben/Chirsta
-Takes the radio from Clementine to safe her from Carver.
Yeah, not so many at the moment, but I'm sure Kenny will do more good until his time ends. So, yeah. As a Kenny fan I say.

I love him because his beard
No. Kenny is ok, ok?
Nope. Obviously you're not a true Kenny fan or you would know how amazing he is.
I am, but you gotta admit that Kenny has some flaws, but you as the player agree with him and comfort him, he's a nice guy.
Kenny did some other good things:
-Knew how to drive a train and was willing to use that skill (thus getting the group to Savannah quickly)
-Gave the group a plan to strive for (the boat)
-Helped uncover the mystery about the St. John's and helped Lee escape (and getting shot in the process)
-Was willing to protect Clem's new group by shooting Carver's henchmen
Bonus:
-He's got a beard
-He's got a moustache
-He's got a mullet
-He's got a badass eyepatch (hopefully)
Kenny is good
God dammit. Kenny is ok, ok?
Nokay
I see what you mean, but...
Kenny is good.
See? This is why Flog took a turn for the worse.
Looking at your list, it's interesting to see how many of Kenny's shortfall stem from panicking or mentally shutting down during stressful situations. For a guy who seems so brave and belligerent, S1 Kenny has a lot of the same problems as Nick does in S2.
This is how I see it.
Kenny is the devil
Kenny is horrible
Kenny is bad
Kenny is ok
Kenny is good
Kenny is awesome
Kenny is life
Kenny is god
I'm in the Kenny is good section, what about you. I take it you'll stay in Kenny is ok but maybe you'll change your answer. I mean Kenny has done a lot if good things, as well as bad.
Kenny is awesome.
Woah, you went higher than I expected, friend. Good to see another Kenny fan that is not crazed for him.
high five
Do you now see what I'm talking about?
Yep.
I love you for making this thread, seriously.
i mean, I've already decided that I'm leaving the forum but just knowing that there are reasonable, level headed people like you here give me hope that, if I return one day, things might be a little different.
Cheers, bro.
A likable, but nevertheless flawed man, Kenny acts as the de-facto leader of the group, and is a sharp, hard-working person who likes to take action and make things happen, though his short temper and failure to think things through often get the better of him.
Does that about covers it?
Kenny is definitely ok!
Jesus, I build one lausy shrine about Kenny and now people think that I worship him or something!
People worship Kenny, Omid etc. Gods and religions are different to real life in Telltale forums.
Yeah, some people on these forums are (gonna be really blunt here) IDIOTS
No, not really. He figured it out as he went along and didn't even have everything figured out, as he told Omid. Anyone else could have presumably done it.
And made things much worse as a result, but I can agree he stepped up to try and do something, I suppose, even if he would have been well advised to wait and plan something out instead of acting rashly.
He didn't do anything to help Lee escape. That was Clementine. This also marks the moment where he can become a total douchebag if you didn't help him kill Larry. But yes, he did take some initiative in helping to uncover the mystery, although none of that would have mattered without Clementine being so small, since they got caught and thrown in the meat locker anyway. Little Clem was the real hero of that scenario.
Yeah, but even Chuck, a newcomer, could see the pitfalls of Kenny's "plan", which suffered from the same problem all of his plans do, not thinking things through enough and going purely off of hope.
Kenny has indeed done some good things along with bad like any realistic well-written character, so he shouldn't get more credit than he deserves, and we shouldn't forget that some of his good come with bad sometimes. Again, a dose of realism in a character.
