I never said Telltale has to give daily updates. . .but it is certainly possible. Do you understand the concept of Twitter ? Facebook ? Any form of social media? I would trust Telltale because they still set the bar to be 6-8 weeks meaning BY July. . .I gave them some credit and it will never happen again. But it certainly isn't MY fault for having hope they would for once stick by what they claim.
Honestly I think what some of your saying is true, silence is annoying.
But I don't think Telltale has to give us daily updates if they do… moren't want to since it is there game. Why would you trust Telltale to release the game in June when they never said they where going to release it in june? That's you're fault not there's.
exactly. Stuff like that. Just so it even appears that they care (even though they obviously don't.) Please everyone go on Twitter or open a Word document... heck even try to reply to this comment and see how long it takes to type out "Finishing up details today on graphics." It took me less than 7 seconds. I know Telltale is SOOOOOOO busy with 4+ games whatever but some employee can spare 7 seconds of his/her day. . .trust me.
Weekly updates would be fine, man.
And it need not be spoilery shit. It could be something like ''just got finished texturing a new chara… morecter model'' or ''JEJ music composition is about 3/4 done for ep. X of Y game''. Something so that we don't feel left out.
Ok you said many things that were wrong but to point out the most obvious I will do what you suggested and look at the situation from their perspective:
Telltale have a game in the Walking Dead that was nominated for Game of The Year last year. The only reason Telltale is becoming relevant is because of that game. As an expanding company Telltale choose to take on more titles/ games. Unfortunately, they can't handle them all and now are severely backed up.
Hmm good enough? Once again, seems like 100% THEIR fault for poor planning. You said it word for word "It is hard for a SMALL company to work on BIG sellers..." SO WHY THE HECK DONT THEY ADD MORE EMPLOYEES/ GROW ? ? ?Hmm any explanation for that one. Why not hire a PR guy who interacts with fans! (I know its bizarre how smart I am !)
Lastly you pose the question, would you rather have a short wait for a half ass episode or a long wait for a well done episode. Well I wish I can answer that but we will never know what a "short" wait episode looks like, will we?
In real life I am usually sympathetic with most people/ companies, but Telltales blatant disrespect to their consumers is hysterical considering they have people like you supporting them.
Kirbinator93PC, this is ridiculous, although there are miniscule parts of this rant that I agree with. Yeah, it's annoying how they don't gi… moreve us frequent updates, but you gotta remember that they are a small company that's hard at work and they shouldn't feel obligated to send out constant updates just because some customers are way too impatient. Yeah, I'm impatient about the wait and I've been posting pics that rip on Telltale, but I'm posting my impatience as a comic relief to this dreadful wait. You're just blatantly harassing them and not giving them the benefit of the doubt. They're not wizards who can just magically make an episode in a fortnight. They've only got 180 employees working there. They're not like Ubisoft or EA Games where they have thousands of employees working at their respective companies. It's hard for a small company with only 180 employees to work on big sellers like The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us. One thin… [view original content]
I like how you guys were complaining about "Even something as mere as a Tweet will do." and here we go, something to lift our spirits. Not o… morenly that but it even seems possible we'll get new TWD and TWAU in the same month once again. So please, stop complaining about not getting the episodes only to end up playing them and complaining once more, it's starting to become infuriating that this place is only about complaining nowadays. It's got significantly worse in just the last couple of weeks.
Haha, love your username.
But yeah, I don't know whats up when I joined (November) I recall users getting banned only If they did something pretty terrible.

Okay, last time I checked this was a 'Season 2 Episode 4 Release Date Discussion' not the Food Network.
I get there isn't much to talk ab… moreout, but you guys are derailing threads posting Food like this is Restaurant: Impossible.
Can we please not post numerous food pictures and get back to what the topic is about please?
"July is looking full of news and releases"
Telltale speak for "the games are nowhere near ready and we're just gonna throw out sporadic screenshots and unspecific tweets so you STFU"
Haha, love your username.

When ever Kenny is being..... Kenny..... I usually just laugh it off. Almost everything Kenny has ever said or done, i've gotta good laugh out of. I laugh at almost everything.
I've got a feeling Kenny is going to be mad at us no matter what
Cut off arm: “What were you thinking; cutting her arm off in the middle of a herd.”
Killed walker: “Why didn't you cut her arm off? We could've saved her!”
Thank you, this is a discussion about "Amid The Ruins," not a discussion about food pictures. If they want to post food pictures, go ahead, fill the forum with irrelevant material, see if we care.

They could change the last trophy to match the new title. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't "In Sheep's Clothing" used to be called "In Sheep's Skin?" If so, they could just change the "No Going Back" to "Better To Sleep."

Thanks, I had a feeling that was so. You're right, they could change the episode title if they want to. I am completely sure that these are legit trophies, so they might just keep the title change.
I know this is off topic, but I love the songs that play in the episode's credits ("In the Water," "In the Pines," and "Remember Me.") Every song is also related to its episode somehow ("Remember Me," to the deaths/disappearances of characters).
I'm not suggesting Telltale reveals licensed information or unfinished work, though. Just simple updates on their progress, like people do on Twitter or Facebook. For example: "Hey everyone! We just finished recording lines with _______! They'd like to say hello and to be prepared for an awesome new Episode!" and then maybe a picture is included of the voice actor and the audio editors waving hello or something.
That would be great, and I'd love to see something like the Double Fine documentaries but with Telltale instead, but I'm not sure that Skybo… moreund would let Telltale publish unfinished work. Unfortunately, one of the major drawbacks of dealing with licensed properties is that you don't have as much freedom when it comes to sharing information since you have to abide by the wishes of the licensor.

There will always be something to complain about. Hence, the point of a forum.
Why are a lot of regular users getting banned?
I just went back to go talk to AWESOMO and he/she is banned. whats going on?
I was about to ask the same thing. The b@n hammer seems to been dropped hard lately.
Haha, love your username.
But yeah, I don't know whats up when I joined (November) I recall users getting banned only If they did something pretty terrible.
Speaking of being banned, talking about banned users is against the rules.
I already asked them to take it easy with the food picture spam.
I'll handle it if it gets bad again.
"July is looking full of news and releases"
Maybe you should reconsider that?
Hopefully spreading the word about a youtuber isnt terrible or else im gonna be...
darn it chomp beat me to it.
wow 5 downvotes
I am glad school is finished for summer so I can play TWD in July with no school in the way,ah bliss.
What if we're all banned users and we just don't know it yet? We're stuck in some sort of ban limbo forever impending our doom and TWD episodes.
That's deep, man.

We've not even reached the bottom of this pit of despair.
This is still my favorite.
Ah man.... now I want to watch The Twilight Zone.
You and me both.
Just read the TOS if you haven't. I don't think it's a problem though.
When ever Kenny is being..... Kenny..... I usually just laugh it off. Almost everything Kenny has ever said or done, i've gotta good laugh out of. I laugh at almost everything.
You youngins are so lucky.

It was always "In Sheep's Clothing". But theoretically they could change change it to match the new title.

I don't know if this is just me, but I think "Better To Sleep" is a better title than "No Going Back." What do you think of the new title?
I love how this picture turned out to be the truth.
LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry ;~; I lost myself there for a moment... whenever I see Lee's face I lose my emotions ;___;
Better to Sleep is definitely better. 'No Going Back' sounds too close to 'No Time Left' in my opinion, but that's just a minor set back overall :P
Personally I think No Going Back sounds more climactic and interesting, but that's just me
please please please put fucking spoiler tags in THIS.
Whoever made that is brilliant! XD
What song are you playing when episode 4 comes out?

I like better to sleep more then no going back. I've heard the words no going back before. But better to sleep sounds more... Original.

Every song in every episode ending is really awesome, cant argue with that
