I don't know much about it, but what I do know is that when the episode starts to be added to Steam (Which means that the episode is completed), the Steam history updates.
I dont usually follow the game this much, what do the updates mean exactly? ( i know it indirectly means that the game is coming out soon) but what are the details behind it?
I believe it has something to do with updating the database, might be used for beta testing, but at a certain point the episode gets uploaded to steam, and then a month or so later you can play it.

If I remember correctly, "In Harm's Way" started updating on Steam around two-three weeks before it released. So the earliest release would probably be July eighth. Just a prediction.

yes but I don't thinks its something real, cuz I asked him but of course he didn't say anything, then someone else asked him he said that he isn't releasing anything not even dialog clues. so I think he just put that so people would stop bothering him. a lot of people bother him about that
Ugh now I want to watch Firefly. Damn my friend who took it to let his girlfriend borrow it and then broke up with her while she still has it. Fuck this thread.
Look man, I don't want this to turn into an argument, so I'm gonna be as civil as possible with this reply.
Telltale has become famous for their other titles like Sam and Max, Back to the Future, and Jurassic Park. Even then, they've taken a certain amount of time to release the episodes.
How is it 100% their fault? How is an estimation time poor planning? They were making a guess on the amount of time it would take to release episodes. As far as employment goes, getting a job is hard in this world. Can you see why they haven't expanded their company?. It's pretty selfish to completely pin the blame on the company just because they don't crap out updates every single solitary day. Also, they already have a PR guy. Mr. Job J Stauffer.
I'm just pointing out that just because Telltale doesn't update often, it doesn't automatically make it disrespect. They're doing the best they can. They're not disrespecting us. As far as I can tell, whenever a staff member comments on a post, they are being respectful to the customers. By the way, I'm just a regular customer looking to play the game. I'm staying neutral. I hate how long it takes for an episode to be released, and I like to poke fun at their long wait times, but at the same time, I don't blame them for taking too long. Be thankful that Job J Stauffer gave us some sort of news and that we will be getting news in the very near future. Don't be a sour puss.
Ok you said many things that were wrong but to point out the most obvious I will do what you suggested and look at the situation from their … moreperspective:
Telltale have a game in the Walking Dead that was nominated for Game of The Year last year. The only reason Telltale is becoming relevant is because of that game. As an expanding company Telltale choose to take on more titles/ games. Unfortunately, they can't handle them all and now are severely backed up.
Hmm good enough? Once again, seems like 100% THEIR fault for poor planning. You said it word for word "It is hard for a SMALL company to work on BIG sellers..." SO WHY THE HECK DONT THEY ADD MORE EMPLOYEES/ GROW ? ? ?Hmm any explanation for that one. Why not hire a PR guy who interacts with fans! (I know its bizarre how smart I am !)
Lastly you pose the question, would you rather have a short wait for a half ass episode or a long wait for a well done episode. Well I wish I can answ… [view original content]

There were two about changing numbers. Which do with the episode.

Thank you...again.
Are you saying episode 4 wont be out for another month?!?
I don't know. It might be out in a little less or a little more than a month. Or even a lot less than a month. we'll have to wait and see.

This been posted yet?
I'd accept that prediction. it fits with the other evidence that we have.
A thread was made about it.

WAIT!
Portuguese?
HUE HUE
Thanks, Telltale. It's good to know that companies are adding more support for us, brazilian gamers.
IT'S HAPPENING, GUYS!
Hmmm.
That's just Gavin messing with people, that still haven't realized, that he'll never answer spoilery questions![:D :D](https://community.telltale.com/resources/emoji/lol.png)
It only changed the languages. The episode hasn't been uploaded yet but it's safe to assume that it'll be uploaded anytime now, hopefully today.

Thanks. I don't have a Twitter and I didn't know he was just messing up.
On a similar note...
*Crap, do we have to use the embed code now or what?
Nope, i believe 2 of them changed other things. Unless im wrong.
Just languages.
I checked again and yes, you are correct. Two updates had to do with languages, while the other two had to do with "Amid The Ruins."
Needs more radio silence.
I believe that's what most of those black ticks are.
Better to sleep sounds worse! It sounds like death
lol, yeah it sounds more like death, but to me it sounds more unique then "No Going Back". That's just what I think.
