I to found it funny, though a very inappropriate topic at the dinner table.
Makes a person lose their appetite!
I think what it shows is that Kenny, after having been on his own for so long, after the events in Savannah, has lost a lot of his people skills.
The three biggest changes I've noticed in Kenny, the other two being his new beard and skills as a marksman, is that he is not as people savvy as he once was.
Not that he doesn't have an insight on human nature, not to mention a healthy caution of strangers/ people he doesn't know well, but just the fact that his social skills need some improvement.
They were better in season 1, than they are now.
But I'm confident that the longer he's with this group, his social skills will become like they were, perhaps even better.
Plus it's a logical conclusion.

Well I don't think he was trying to be rude towards Luke and Nick.
As his body language afterwards stated loud and clear, " I'm sorry, didn't mean to step on anyone's toes."
Though after Nick insulted him, and his idea regards Wellington, I don't blame Kenny for telling them to piss off.
You don't insult someone, while you're a guest in their home, and Nick should know that!
Nobody likes to be cussed at, and the fact that Nick did that, shows a huge lack of class on Nick's part.
Though I will also agree that Kenny's, "You got a hearing problem kid?", was not very respectful either.
There was fault on both ends, though more so on Nick's, as he was a guest in another person's house.
Though after what I saw in episode 3, Nick and Kenny seemed to have developed a certain level of respect for each other.
Particularly how Nick responded after Kenny miraculously rose to his feet, after the beating from Carver.
Nick's, "Not bad, old man," seems to perhaps even denote a certain admiration for Kenny's recovery, considering how quick it was.
Welcome to the community KennysHemorrhoid (sucks that you have an error [it's supposed to be Kenny's] but you can't change it) never tried peaches and beans. Yes it's inappropriate it makes people lose their appetite as Kenny/Lee said. So far I think Kenny's most hilarious quote is*** "I don't know what the fck you're saying but I know it's bullsht***."

There is not enough "What." in the world to describe my current state of "What.ness" right now. What.
Welcome!
1) No I never tried that since I hate both.
2) Uhh.. A brick?
3) He went cuckoo.
