Okay heres a timeline of news so far (Tell me if i miss any)

June 20th - Recording sessions are done

June 24th - Job says July "Is going to be full of news and releases.

June 26th - Steam db updates for episode 4 (With plenty more)

June 28th - Gavin Hammon (The voice of Kenny) gives information about episode 4 such as "it will be dark" and "Kenny would not have cut off Sarita's arm"

July 1st - Job says Episode 4 will be out in July and news will be in the weeks to follow.

  • I guess you have an excuse then. Sorry about the surgery man.

We actually never had that schedule and that's a community made schedule so take it with a grain of salt.

I had surgery and can't go outside/do physical activity and all my other games boring now that i've beaten them. I'm fine with waiting but I just wish we still had the 4-6 week schedule for each episode

  • Oooh, nice list. I missed several of those (or didn't remember the dates).

  • how exactly does TWAU having a 4 month delay have anything to do with the next episode of the WD? im not a TWAU fan,nor do i care if it has a 4 month delay, like a lot of fans im here because of WD only! TWAU should not even come into it,bad schedule? who cares,i paid for the walking dead.

Well, seeing all the people frothing at the mouth from the possibility that Wolf may get an Episode before Dead Season 2 does, I'd say a lot

  • There was no system to begin with. The release schedule was completely coincidental.

This is not TWAU getting unfair treatment but rather Telltale trying to make up lost time. Had TWAU not had it's episode 2 delayed for four months it would've been done by now.

It honestly fucks up the system Telltale had going on.

  • but how is that WD's fault???? it isn't

    OzzyUK posted: »

There was also the 4 month delay which put TWAU behind schedule, that could be the reason that they are releasing Cry Wolf first.

  • I'd say screenshots for Cry Wolf tomorrow(7/2), then a trailer w/ release dates on Thursday(7/3), and release on (7/8, 7/9, etc)

As for TWD 204, screenshots on July 15th, trailer on July 17th w/ release dates, and release on July 22nd, 23rd, etc.

Could be wrong by a week or so, but this is the way I see it.

  • I think that is the point we are trying to get across. :)

That's the point. I was already trying to imply that was not the case in the first place. As I said above, the Wolf/Dead/Wolf/Dead pattern was nothing more than a fairly reasonable coincidence.

Walking Dead, Wolf Among Us, and all of Telltale's series have different teams. As far as I know, one game should not be a problem on another game.

  • I now get the feeling that Telltale are just jumping on the band wagon with all the massive franchises, that will draw in more money for them.
This is why I have a strong feeling they'll make a series 3, due to all the money it will draw in.

    please

  • No, it's not real.

  • Thank god that'll never happen.

  • This and TWAU in the same month? Its an embarrasment of riches!

  • Even before Walking Dead, Telltale has always had ambitions to aim for larger franchises. To some of Telltale's older fans of their comedy puzzle games, Telltale's choice to make a Walking Dead game was viewed as "just jumping on the band wagon with all the massive franchises that will draw in more money for them" in the same way that you guys think Telltale is now "abandoning" Walking Dead to work on new games.

Walking Dead is definitely in the middle of a great run for Telltale. I hardly see how them working on additional projects down the line would result in Walking Dead being hurt. Telltale uses different teams for each series they make, I believe.

  • Why shouldnt they work on more franchises to draw in more money? Are people forgetting this is a business? More power to them, I say.

I wonder if Telltale will use their ever-growing reputation to one day make a brand new IP of their own? That'd be interesting to see.
