I can agree I am slightly less engaged with Clem being the pc. I feel I look to deeply into what I recognize as her character and I choose the dialogue and options that suit her character, not my mindset, and it breaks immersion for me. That being said I care enough about her character to look past this and enjoy her story to the fullest (because I do still want to see her story progress and see where it goes). As for length I still don't see the major concern about it. If they are going to add another 30 minutes why not another 15 on top of that? Why not another 15 on top of that? They're small additions which should be easy for telltale to give us. But the truth is that it isn't necessary, it doesn't help the story they are trying to tell, if it did then they would add it.
I don't think its ONLY the quantity. I think its the QUANTITY with the slightly less intriguing story line. I loved Season 1 a lot because o… moref Lee but I don't feel the same connection with Clementine tbh. Overall though, I think 30 more minutes of gameplay does make a big difference with regards to forum content. Thats a whole other scene to analyze. But you're right its not only the shorter episodes.
When I first joined this community, a lot of members was active like crazy. You can see them in every single discussion. Examples; GOUSTTTT, Viva-La-Lee, LeeTheProfessional, Rafoli, Clem_is_awesome and many other members I can't remember their name now. I think I was in the golden age when I joined. Everyone was so... energetic in those days. But I think they get... bored? I think they thought that this community lost it's own magic or something. Trolls was still trolling members, sending rule34 stuff (god that's just horrible! ) and starting discussions about movies and shoot. Thanks to the mods we don't have much of them anymore. I've met good people in this community. I don't think I'll just leave them behind. But you're right, we're losing everyone slowly.
That depends on how the Content of my Interest will be handled. That means Future IP's and what they are about (no interest in the coming ones) and WD and Wolf. Wolf seemingly pretty unlikely and WD questionable at the Moment. I doubt any of them for Next Year this Time with Borderlands and GoT. After the Season Endings there may are some more Weeks or even 1 or 2 Months with Discussion Topics for the Fraction of Players which waited for the whole Season or Disc Releases. Then Activity is slowly fading away until you're hearing something New.
Still will continue lurking the Forums and Site for any kind of News since TT is one of the Reasons which holding my Interest in Playing Games these Days. Not sure about Forum Activity but i consider myself as a lesser known Casual Member. Nobody would recognise my Absence from that whatsoever.

With hundreds of threads being constantly spawned (whether it was relevant or not), GIF overloads which were usually caused by me, GOUSTTTT and Crixus, spambot trolls and lame-ass trolls, and so much more.
I've witnessed the beginnings of the Meme and Fun Thread, birth of the user who must not be named or I will be banned and her thread, Forum contests, Saltlick's, Viva's and Azlyn's beginnings. And yeah when they first joined they weren't the same as they are now (I'm looking at you GOUSTTT and you too Invictus XD).
Eventually, everything just became...stale. Around this point, a lot of people are losing ideas of what to discuss, some were forced to leave, others were just blown off by fellow users. As for me, I left for the same reason as the others (including schoolwork) but yeah I'm pretty much back after my absence and I was REALLY surprised to find how A LOT has changed. Few people even surpassed my likes (to my surprise but I don't care anymore)
Yeah, pretty much like Dark_Star, I think I joined in the Golden Age (or Silver Age) of this forum. But don't worry bro, this could return to its "awesome" state when Season 3/Episode 5 comes along XD
I kind of think that even if walking dead ends. They will make some other awesome game and people will come back, because they are awesome at what they do. I might be wrong that people come bk to chat about everything, but im not wrong that telltale is awesome So i might disappear, but once im interested i will be back XD
Well, I joined soon after Season 1 ended, but I wasn't quite active at that time. I returned when "400 Days" were released, wasn't very active at that time either, but, still. I rememebered a few people from that time, people like Dildor, TeamKennyAlways, Zeruis, and the rest. Imagine my surprise when they were effectively no longer around when I resurfaced back in December. Active people are coming and going, and it's the way these forums work, unfortunately. Active people start to lose their "activeness", and forums grow stale. The cycle changes all the time, if there is a chance for Season 3, this forum will be flooded by new people, who'll become popular and active, starting some new Metallic Age, but, by this time, I reckon most of the current users will be gone from here.
i don't think this forum isn't going to die. By the time Telltale releases it's first episode of Game of Thrones the forum will be buzzing with new members. I think the forum is just in a relapse period

I guess it depends on the games you played. A lot of people in this forum are TWDG fans mostly so if there isnt a Season 3 they might leave. But I guess a lot of people are staying for their upcoming games and to discuss TWAU finale and hopefully S2 announcement.
I also feel like there aren't a whole lot of new discussions in this forum because we have already discussed a lot of the topics in the previous episodes of S2 and we need Ep. 4 soon for new discussions.
This thread really is sad :P But it's true. This place isn't the same place as it was when I joined. When I joined (This February) this place was really energetic as others here said. I remember myself even creating long ass threads about theories and all that stuff, but I don't really do that anymore. Big names were really active at that time and now most of those big names aren't as active or left. I even made a thread on how much I loved this place at the time because that was the deepest state of my depression then. I used to love this place and I still do, but just a tad bit less.
The only thread I really go on now is the FOTD Lounge, and I'm not alone on that one. Same goes for other people as well. That's just because we can't really theorize or go much more into the game due to Telltale' waiting times. I mean, we haven't been attacked by a troll in how long now? Not saying that's a bad thing, but it goes to show how much this place has changed and how people view it now. It's all just unfortunate really.
As for me, when will I leave? I have no idea. Only time will tell.
I may or may not be leaving soon. This place his grown stale, and I have a personality clash with a lot of the members here. The people I do like I have on steam. There's not much incentive to stick around.
Well, I've been here for just a little less than a year now, and it has brought me some amazing experiences and a lot of fun. I surely hope that I'll never have to go, even though I have barely made a name around here with most people. This forum's greatest gift to me is a Skype group of some of the best people I have ever met and surely I hope to form more of these bonds as I contribute to these threads and discussions.

To answer your question, its going to stop when Telltale stops making games.
