How did you ****** the ******* *** [Spoilers]

How did you Punish the Crooked man? Personal, I was torn until the last second when I decided while Aunti Green leaf had a good intention but I was not satisfied with it, nor did I want to rip off his head and become the savage bigby used to be. so I threw him down the well and shouted at my computer screen "DOWN THE WELL YOU GO MOTHER****ER" I was wondering what the rest of you did.

  • I went with Auntie Greenleaf's idea
though i was so very close to doing what you did

I imprisoned him, worse than death in my opinion, and he ends up as a crow in a cage, no where to go, no talking, so he's in deep shit, P.S I wish we could have saltlicked someone one Ep5....

  • Down the Witching Well, like the criminal he is. I didn't want to chance him escaping.

  • I was still deciding, when he grabbed me. After that? Shove.

  • It actually turn out in the end that maybe Auntie Greenleaf's idea was probably for the better. I did the same thing and then when that ending hit, I knew that it was for the better. I was excited by the fact that I could rip off his head, (who wouldn't be!?) but I knew that was too harsh. I was torn between prison or throwing him down the Witching Well. I decided to put him in prison and when I started to talk to Nerissa, it seemed like that for for the better.

  • Anyone have a video where you imprison him? I threw him down the well and i already saw someone rip his head off.

  • I imprisoned him. Gave out a bit of a laugh when I found out what that actually meant.

  • I wasn't a fan of imprisoning him, because I figured he could probably escape somehow. I was still weighing my options, but when he grabbed Bigby I shoved him down the well, no hesitation.

  • Ripped his head off. Rest in pieces, Crooky. Plus, it seemed poetic justice beheading him for ordering beheadings himself, an eye for an eye. Or a head for a head, as the case may be.

  • Eh, I killed him in the Foundry. While I wanted to do things the correct way, when he started talking me into taking him alive I was convinced he would worm his way out if I gave him any quarter, I figured the safest thing was to kill him while I had the chance. Turns out despite some shocked first reactions when I got to the well, people came around (I was nice apart from that bit :P) and Nerissa even said to me he would've probably wormed his way out of it if you took him alive (she obviously sympathises whatever you do). Still don't know whether I made the right choice, but I think it was the safest choice.

It did piss me off when everyone started saying 'oh, so now if I commit any crime Bigby will come and kill me?' and 'even the Crooked Man didn't deserve this', this was obviously an extremely exceptional case, the Crooked man had something on everyone, basically controlling the whole population and was ultimately responsible for two deaths which he tried to cover up and then shift all the blame on someone else. I guess the fact it affected me so much shows it was a good ending though :P.

Also where did Woody and Crane go?

  • Threw him down the Wishing Well. I thought he would escape the prison, and if he did he could harm more people. If I ripped of his head then that would show everyone I am the same wolf as I was in the Homelands. Even after he attacked me I thought ripping of his head was a little bit extreme.

  • Crane's on a plane to Paris, or possibly in Paris by now. Woody was probably doing what he does best, getting loaded on cheap hooch.

  • I let aunt greenleaf turned him into a raven.
Especially after what narissa has to tell about she didn't specifically hear the crooked man giving the order to kill, i felt i did the right thing.

  • Yeah, I killed him in the Foundry as well. Like you, I was worried that he would talk his way out of everything, plus I was also kinda worried that he might try to hurt the others if I brought him back alive. Kinda ended up regretting it, because most of the characters seemed to hate me for it. xD

I had a feeling Woody wouldn't be there. Our final scene with him in E4 just felt like we wouldn't see him again anytime soon. As for Crane, didn't the mirror show that Mary was sending him off somewhere?

  • I was thinking of either throwing him down the well or ripping his head off at the spot. After he grabbed me I ripped his head off instantly. I actually wanted Bigby to keep the head as a trophy but oh well...

  • I'm kinda upset knowing that if i brought him back i coulda ripped his head off :/

  • Ripped his head off.

    NO REGRETS.

  • I imprisoned him. I made a deathbed promise to Georgie to make sure Crooky got it worse. Imprisonment forever is a far worse punishment than death.

  • I hesitated. I had decided right away that I wouldn't kill him but when I was trying to decide between Prison and the Well he tried to throw me down. After that, seeing Bigby holding him right over the hole, I picked silence and he did exactly what I hoped he would: Wordlessly threw him down the well.

I wasn't too keen on the idea of having him emprisoned since I feared that he would escape sooner or later but I was really starting to think about it, I didn't want the whole community to turn against me or to see me as a monster. But when he attacked me the option of ripping his head off had become way too tempting for me to ignore it, so that's what I ultimately did and I can't say I regret it.

  • I also threw him down the witching well.
That is what everyone wanted me to do with him, except auntie greenleaf.
And I thought since there was this whole democracy debate going on, I should just go with the crowd :P
But I do admit I was a bit torn until he grabbed me, then I just wanted to throw that fucker as far away as possible
And as many of you others said, I thought it was a bit harsh to rip of his head in front of everyone :PP

  • I was just going to throw his down the well. Then, he grabbed me and tried to throw me in. So, I ripped his head off and tossed him down. I figured that it was fair considering what he had done to those girls. I apologized to the Fables though, when I came across them in the hallway.

  • I did the exact same thing, except before he attacked me I was going to throw him down the Witching Well. When he attacked me, I said "F it" and just ripped his smug head off. He deserved no less. I did feel bad for doing it in front of the other Fables though, so I apologized to them. I don't feel bad about beheading him because he was responsible for beheading and killing plenty of people. Live by the sword, die by the sword.

  • The Witching Well is a sort of prison/limbo. I think I'd rather be imprisoned than thrown down the Witching Well, personally. Just my opinion.

  • I did not want to give him a chance to escape.so i didnt care about auntie greenleaf's idea.i threw him to witching well , but i didnt rip his head apart cuz everybody already scares from us , u just didnt want to make it worse :/

  • Crane is in Paris. That's a plotline that gets resolved in the comics so don't worry,

  • Threw him down the Well, no doubt.

  • Imprisoned...Sequel bait. I liked his character. Wouldn't mind seeing him again if he escapes.

  • Under what circumstances could you behead him? I had a zero tolerance policy with villains the whole way through so I killed him in the metalworks, but it was by strangling.

  • That's exactly what I did too.

  • Yeah, well some of us got a good look at his clavicle. Not me though. I threw him down a well.

  • When you arrest him and bring him to the Witching Well chambers alive. You have the decision to lock him up or throw him down the Well. Just before you could answer he attempts to bring you down the Well with him. You then have the option to rip off his head.

    Off with his head!

I was going to rip his head off, but then he atacked Bigby and i was like «Ship! They won't let me! :-(» And then they offered me one more chance and i was like «phew >:D»

  • I was gonna just lock him up..... until he tried to throw bigby down the well then I was like you know what fuck you down the well you go

  • just replay it in another safe file

  • I had two separate strings going throughout the season. The first was the "Nice Guy" playthrough, which I made all the decisions I would make personally, and the "Asshole" playthrough, which I would make all of the decisions as opposite as I could.

In the Nice Guy playthrough, I threw him down the well. In the Asshole playthrough, I killed him in the warehouse.

I want to play through those again and pick the other choices to see how the story turns.

  • I ripped his head off.

I knew taking him to the trial and letting him speak in front of Fables was a mistake (he had a silver tongue since the beginning of Chapter 5), but I wanted to give Snow a chance to have a fair trial. The trial just confirmed my suspicion that he will only try to instigate the Fables against their government and put himself onto piedestal as their savior, even though he was just exploiting them. I did not want to let a dangerous man like that a single chance to dig his way out of the Well or risk that some corrupt Fable would break his imprisonment spell, so I killed him.

  • I ripped his head off. Not just because it was poetic justice, but it felt like the most fitting thing for Bigby's story arc. I felt like TWAU was setting up Bigby Wolf as a tragic anti-hero. As much as he tried to do things by the book, the wolf would always end up taking matters into his own hands through violent means. To me, this aspect of Bigby couldn't be reconciled, and he would have to wear it like a curse for the rest of his life, just like Vivian had to wear the ribbon like a curse. Bigby could not become a 'changed man', as much as Snow desired him to change. The trial onlookers needed to witness Bigby decapitate The Crooked Man, so that they knew who was truly the protector of Fabletown. Reckless and destructive as he may be, at least he was on their side...

There are no happy endings in detective film noir stories folks. Only deeply flawed characters who come to accept their own flaws.

  • Am I the only person that believes Auntie Greenleaf was lying? She goes offscreen and then comes back with a crow in a cage.

A few minutes earlier she had been on Crooked Man's side saying when the government wasn't there for her, Crooked Man was. I also found it strange that the crow didn't have any signs of being crooked on it. Seemed like a normal crow. Not sure. Thoughts?
