Well, whatever is gonna happen, my body is ready. Just by the trailer alone, this episode is gonna be action-packed. Let's hope its better than In Harms Way.

By the way, who was that guy with the glasses?

One thing I noticed, is that in the preview trailer at the end of EP3, in that scene where everyone is fighting off walkers to protect Rebecca in labour, Luke is not present and Kenny asks angrily "Where the fuck is Luke?!".

Yet in that same scene at this recent trailer, Luke is right there and helping them fight the horde off.

I wonder if Luke being there to help is going to be determinant? Is he going to ditch the group depending on how we treat him?

"I just want to survive Clem, and that means picking the right sides."

I noticed Jane isn't there either at the scene where Luke is missing, but she's there if he's also there as shown in the recent trailer.
They seem to have the same mentality of putting survival above everything.

Maybe if we treat them both badly, they end up ditching the group together? He picks what he considers the "right side", Jane's side, who seems to have the same survivalist principles as him.

We've seen how she's trying to make Clem's mind up about ditching the group...Maybe she appeals to Luke too, who she sees as a fellow survivalist.

Maybe having Nick alive or not will also play a part in this.

  • I will sure as hell leave him. LOL

Survival vs. Helping out your group. I won't leave Kenny!

  • The last three are just resigned to working for Carver. Clementine can be, if you choose to. Kenny was sensible enough to try and do something about it.

Umm, Clementine herself, Rebecca, Carlos and Nick, to name a few.

  • Yeah just switched to 1080 HD--you're totally right

That definitely looks like Bonnie holding Rebecca to me.

  • I was unsure whether to praise Clementine that he got his skinny little ass choked or be sad that Julie died because of him when they went with the suicide pact.

Reminded me of Chris, that douchebag from the comics. And yes, I know it's not him.

  • Something else that I think you'd find cool is that Kenny's Episode 5 theme (the Christa version) is playing in the background during that scene.

  • I just remembered the "Where the fuck is Luke?!" line while rewatching the trailer and I have some thoughts on this!

During these 2 scenes, the sky is the same as during the herd/Rebecca's birth scene:

Of course, the sky being the same (very pretty! I love Telltale's graphics this season so much!) color doesn't really mean much, but eh. So... there's a possibility Luke might tell Clem to come with him somewhere or, if Clem refuses, he comes back with her to Parker's Run to fight off zombies.

Indeed! I think many little things from the past EPs are going to have a major effect on how Luke behaves in this EP.
Like, whether you told him your story in EP1. If you sat with him or not in EP2, if you were hostile to him by telling Kenny you don't trust him, Nick dying, choosing to stay with Kenny to watch Carver...

Remember how Telltale said one of the major themes of Season 2 was going to be "Trust" ?

Edit: Thanks to forum member LoneWolfe for this! He found this at Kenny's voice actor's Ask page:

So we'll change our views on Luke, huh?

There's also this from Kenny's actor as well :

I guess Clem is what's pulling him back from the edge.

Maybe if we pick Kenny, Luke ditches the group, and if we pick Luke, Kenny kills himself?

  • I love this seasons enviroments. and look a\t the colors too, though they are dark, much like this season. yall noticed???this season has been dark hardly any lightness or funny stuff, or as funny as season one.

  • The environments have been so more more colorful and beautiful than season 1 - maybe to symbolize that beauty can exist in even the worst situations. Like Carver's prison camp had a beautiful purple sky in the background. A majority of episode 4's scenes seem to have that really pretty purple sky, too, during the herd scene at Parker's Run. It's really cool.

  • I think the "where is Luke?" line could be misleading since we don't have context. He looks like he'll be a big part of the episode. He'll be around to observe Kenny struggling with losing Sarita. According to the achievements, Rebecca gives birth near the end of the episode, and Luke is around for that too.

So, right now, I think that line is supposed to be misleading.

  • So maybe they never leave Parker's run? They never go to Wellington after all. :\

Episode 5? So... that could be some foreshadowing material...

  • Hopefully we can remind Kenny of that conversation :/
Generally I agree with you--Kenny seems to be giving up with the dialogue we've heard. But when he's with Mike at the end, he certainly doesn't seem to doing so. This might've just been before the Sarita scene, but I'm guessing all the scenes with the sunset sky take place close to each other. My guess is the Mike and Kenny scene is them either 1) fighting their way to Rebecca and the others to help defend her or 2) diving into the walkers to fight them head on after they've run out of bullets defending Rebecca.
Either way, hopefully Kenny doesn't give in that easily!

The trailer makes it seem like Kenny's giving up but in S1E5 Kenny made a speech about not giving up on the people you care about in reference to katjaa when she shot herself, he wouldn't give up on the group especially not clem

  • yeah I know. I like season one better but it definitely feels bigger now like idk how to explain it but it feels like a bigger world.

and I also meant the story, its very dark hardly any humor. the only humor was that short moments with luke and clem going to the skate hosue or whatever. and that warm nice moment of meeting Kenny, but everything went dark fast.

They need a group bonding moment.

Slightly off topic, but I thought it said "Jane and Mike seem to have lost everyone since they're losers" at first glance. I was like, "that's a little harsh". And I laughed quite a bit.

jane and clem killed the walkers in the same way so this could be one of clem's new survival skills?maybe

  • I think the last scene in the trailer when Luke says, “Hey, you okay?” and Clem says “No” is misleading.

Watch it again. You don’t see Luke’s face at all and therefore don't see how his mouth matches dialogue, and if you look carefully, Clementine's mouth doesn't really shape itself like it should if she was really saying "No".

It’s either dialogue spliced together/edited around for a simplistic ending whammy, or it’s an exchange that happens elsewhere, in a more spoilery moment that they didn't want to put in the trailer.

This is probably a determinate injury depending on your choice to save Kenny or restrain Sarita in episode 3.

It disappeared quickly :P, they most likely had a bunch of clips that got edited from different playthroughs.

  • It's because he's, you know... Urban?

    I'm sorry, that's a terrible joke.

Mike is kind of an idiot here. Choking up a walker, really?

  • There's no need to call someone an idiot for misunderstanding something.

I think you're the idiot. Mike is holding it so it is easier to kill. He doesn't have any weapons so it is easier that way.

Nay, they're not. They're just as eager to make a plan. It's just Kenny was extremely violent about it.

And foolish. I mean seriously, what would attacking Mike actually accomplish?

The last three are just resigned to working for Carver. Clementine can be, if you choose to. Kenny was sensible enough to try and do something about it.

  • No, she's making a sandwich?

  • Maybe she's sad about someone's death? Possibly Rebecca's death if there's any complications in birth.

At the end: Luke to Clem: Hey, You okay? No! What happened here? I think after watched the trailer, the half group gonna die in this episode.

    BEN CONFIRMED FOR SEASON 2
    just joking :)

He looked more like Ben to me. Maybe he's just a real skinny, feminine looking guy.
