I hate to say this, but I agree with Tomi021. Season 1 was so awesome when I was playing it originally. I was one of the people who didn't know about season 1 until after episode 5 was released, so maybe that makes me a bit biased. BUT, I am going to reserve my final opinion about season 2 until after episode 5 is released as well, simply because there are so many things that could still happen. I have to say though, I am not as hyped as I was waiting for episode 1 to be released, and this season just seems so much different than season 1. the chemistry between Lee and Clementine in season 1 was the most important part of why I liked season 1 so much, and without it, you have season 2. these other characters that were introduced, I still haven't felt attached to any of them. after 3 episodes in season 1, it was HARD AS HELL to have to make Kenny realize what he was doing and then to have to shoot Duck after Katjaa killed herself, man, that alone made season 1 mean so much more in 3 episodes than anything in season 2 thus far. I think the detachment from the cabin characters is the main difference for me. we were a solid group in season 1, even with Kenny and lily fighting over who was in charge, we were more solid than this group in this season. and playing as clementine, i am not doing things thinking about how it will affect clementine, b/c I AM clementine. I are just thinking whatever and not worried about how clementine will be affected by the decision. idk, it's tough to be this critical, I love this game, and the comics (although this new comic story line has thrown me off about it) and the show (I think this next season will be the best of all besides season 1 maybe), and I want to love this season like I loved season 1, but it's just that different for me. again, I will save my final opinion for the end of the season, but thus far, season 1 is way better. Episode 3 was pretty darn good I must say, but it's not the same as deciding whether or not to shoot Duck for Kenny.

I would tend to agree with you. I wouldn't say the hype's at 0, but it isn't exciting me like season 1 or twau. I haven't replayed any of the episodes yet.
