what did you do about Rebecca

What did you do to Rebecca when the Russians ambushed the group. Shoot her or not shoot her. Of you did shoot het than the Russians fire at everybody. If you didn't shoot her she could kill luke or the baby. So what did you do?

  • Shot her, but I wish I hadn't. Didn't have much time to think.

I shot her, but either way you feel like crap afterwards. -_-

I shot her right away. What happen exactly if you call for help?

  • This is what I want to know. I shot her because I didn't want her eating her child.

I think it was Kenny who shoots her then. I did shot her first time and called for help in my second play.

  • I shot her and regretted it a second later

  • I shot her, I regret it because the baby is probably gonna end up deaf.

Shot her, Now I think If you shoot her Clem will get blamed for the deaths, and if you don't Kenny will be blamed and if Luke and Kenny survive then things will escalate with them...

  • I shot Rebecca. She was going to feast on her new-born baby and I wanted to protect it.

Even if I didn't shoot it, a crossfire was inevitable so I made the first move.

  • I shot the walker. At that point Rebecca was dead - Jane taught her that you always had to be ready to end your friends lives if they reanimate so it had to be done.

I think Kenny shoots her for you. But it still ends in a shootout. :/

  • If you do not shoot, Kenny shoots her and same stuff will happen.. :)

  • I called for help, because I couldn't bring myself to do that :(. Her death was sad and made me cry, I feel for her baby boy. He doesn't have a mother or a father now.

  • In my first playthrough, I shot her before she could bite the baby, in my second, I yelled for help and Kenny shot her, but regardless the shooting happens so I don't think the choice will matter much once EP5 comes out!

  • I loved this moment. When I saw she turned it didn't take me much time to pull the trigger. Only a split second later I realized that I had caused everyone to fire on each other. And then the screen went black. Awesome work here, Telltale!

  • I didn't shoot her because the Russians wouldn't of known she was infected and thought we started attacking and they would of started shooting, getting the upperhand. Kenny shot her and then the shootout happens. I hope Kenny didn't die because of this choice.

  • That was the fastest anyone has turned in the whole series

  • I shot her, but I'm a bit surprised at the percentage compared to the people here saying they shot her. As of right now, the percentage is 42.7% on PS3

  • Unfortunately, you can't do the right thing in this game without being blamed. Who in their right mind would call out instead of taking the shot? I honestly could care less about infants in an apocalypse, it's ridiculous, but if you're a protector, that's what you do. You don't think about being blamed later, you don't call out, you pull the trigger.

  • I shot her out of instinct because I was scared she would harm the baby or someone else, then I regretted it the moment Clem pulled the trigger, since everyone started firing on each other, and I felt like I doomed everyone.

  • Well obviously you didn't since they shoot when Kenny does it for you (the alternative). The only thing you can really be worried about is being blamed, but we all know that's going to happen anyway.

  • Idk she was probably dead from the time she sat down. Ben's teacher turned fast too right?

  • Yeah, I chose to let Kenny shoot her in my other playthroughs... there was no way of preventing anything. I just hope it doesn't turn into another Sarita situation where Clem gets blamed for more people's deaths.

  • I took the shot because she was surrounded by Clem's group and I didn't want any of them getting bitten by her. At least the chances of surviving a bullet wound are higher than a zombie attack.

  • I called for help, then Kenny shot her and I was so shocked because I didn't know she was bit! I'm still really confused about that situation.

  • She wasn't bitten, she died from exhaustion. You turn no matter how you die.

  • I called for help since I wanted to warn everyone of what was happening. I also couldn't bring myself to shoot her.

  • I shot her because I didn't want to distract the group, but afterwards I realized the Russians probably think I took a shot at them :/
And Rebecca and I were just beginning to bond...

    Kind of late reply, but anyway. I shot her, and immediately regretted it. I completely understand why they did it for story reasons (someone needed to start the shoot out), but I still didn't like the fact that they only let you choose between shooting her in the middle of a mexican stand off (which is a terrible idea) or calling for help, which seems kind of out of character for Clem, adorable little rambo that she has become. Ideally there would have been an option to repeatedly apply the awl to her head, because since the beginning of the apocalypse everyone has always focused on using melee weapons to avoid drawing attention, and it's probably become muscle memory at this point. Clem wouldn't have to take the blame for even more deaths. ;~;

All that being said, I'll probably stick with the choice I made. She is only 11 and sometimes you react without thinking when faced with baby eating monsters five feet in front of you.

  • Thats the annoying thing. I love these games, but cmon, if you don't shoot her, someone else will? What happened to choices matter? I would have gladly reloaded my game to prevent a russian shoot out. But since that happens anyways, whats the point :P

  • Kenny shoots her for you. It ends the same way

  • I didn't shot because then i thought the Russians would think we were trying to shoot them. Thus starting a shootout, Which actually happened.

  • I ended up having the timer run out before I made a decision because I knew that, if I shot her, all hell would probably break loose. It was actually a tough choice for me, but I do agree that it is a bit disappointing that, in the end, the choice whether to shoot or not didn't really matter because all hell broke loose anyway.

That's close to what I did. I didn't shoot because I knew it would start them all off. So I called for help hoping they'd all see what's going on.

As horrible as it was, I can't say I really liked Rebecca. Her behaviour before she got pregnant got Alvin killed.

  • That's what I talk about in this thread http://www.telltalegames.com/community/discussion/77781/our-decisions-need-to-matter-spoilers

Our decisions need to really matter. I don't like how they don't.

  • I called for help, thinking that would distract everyone enough to end the standoff.

    Boy, was I wrong...

  • She wasn't bit, she just died. (& remember everybody dead turns into a zombie unless your brain is destroyed?)

  • So are you working your way through all the threads until you get to the beginning of the forum? STOP resurrecting old threads.
