Maybe Arvo was hiding the supplies because...

He was probably delivering the supplies, so another person (From the church group... If there is one) can pick it up. Maybe they have a deal going on. Arvo was hiding it to prevent a random survivor finding it. Thoughts?

  • This was put really low. Bump.

  • Or he can pretend random people took it make his russian friends find random survivors say that they stole it and take their supplies and go find the bag and do everything ahain

  • I was going to post this. why was arvo "hiding" those meds in the trash when he said he needed them for his sister. and I like your theory, a new threat. what if they are dealing with a negan situation??? but then again that guy is shady as hell

  • I think there is definitely a reason he was stashing the supplies. He was alone and separated from his group so he's hiding something from them. Given his relatively young age, his skinny form (compared to the Russian mob lookin' other dudes in his group), and his handicap I'm going to guess for now that he's probably not the leader of the group he's with and maybe even wants to get away from them. It's possible he wasn't lying about his sick sister- just maybe she's somewhere else and not with the group we see at the end. It's possible he's trying to steal the supplies from them because they'd rather sell / trade them then let him use it to cure his sick sister. Either way he was alone when we first met him and clearly trying to stash the supplies for some reason and I'm willing to bet for right now that the rest of his group doesn't know he was hiding them.

  • a ben situation with the Russians????

  • I'm pretty sure the group sends him, because he seems to be the weakest. The only assest he has is knowing English, so he could talk to other survivors.

  • well when the group, rick's, move out Georgia they meet this place that basically a sanctuary, but they have a leader problem, he is kinda weak, and their bigger problem, they have a psycho crazy fucker that is full of thugs and they bully this place into giving them supplies, food, meds, etc.

I haven't read the comics. Care to explain the "Negan situation"?

  • Basically in the comics Negan is like the governor but like 20x worse and when I say 20x worse i'm not joking. But he basically Negan has a group of 50+ men and he brutally murders a key character (i'm not going to say who) in front of Rick's group and to sum it all up He basically threatens to kill everyone at the Alexandria safe zone and the Hilltop if they don't not give them half of the supplies that they gather every week. Arvo was probably dealing with a similar situation and when Jane and Clem wouldn't let Arvo put the supplies in the trash so that the russian group could get it he went and explained it to the russian group causing the shootout

But his English speaking skills are a huge asset, especially when you're stranded in America, where the odds of finding more Russians or an English group that would help you are slim. Not a good idea to risk him.

  • If they had some sort of trade arrangement I think it's doubtful the group would send the skinny, frail kid with a leg brace off into a zombie infested apocalyptic world alone to make the drop offs. Especially since, as Dojo says, speaking English is a pretty valuable asset. A. As the weakest he'd be an easy target for anyone looking to rob him, B. He doesn't look capable of running if necessary, C. If whoever they're trading with decides to pull a double cross he'd be pretty easy picking. I mean, if I was in this crazy world and I had some sort of barter arrangement with people I'd want to protect my shipment- something the Russian mob looking guys would probably be familiar with.

I think it's more likely he's got something he's working on on the side. Like I said- maybe the bit about his sick sister wasn't BS, it might just not be the whole story. If he's really planning on using that medicine for someone it's a pretty safe bet they're not with this group otherwise there'd be no reason to hide it someplace.

Also his leg brace squeaks, that would probably draw walkers towards him. He's probably playing his English speaking card to survive. If he didn't speak English, what group would want a guy who has a leg brace that attracts walkers?

  • He really could be a carbon copy of ben, he even looks and acts like him

  • He tried to fit that bag in the trashcan which is empty. So this could mean someone give him an instruction to drop it there or in a trashcan since i didn't see him looking around for a place to drop it. But I'm pretty sure he stole it from other group and give it to Russian group (bandits). In any case I hate Arvo and hopefully we can kill this lying butthole in Ep.5

  • Yeah, my bet is Arvo was stealing the supplies and tried to blame it on the strangers he just met.

  • Arvo is the new Ben but this time he's with the Russians

  • The Russians send Arvo, some beta guy with a broken leg, to collect medicine, which they would have clearly used to drug themselves.

  • But Arvo was hiding the medicine. I'm still pretty sure that those drugs were for Eddie.

  • If you say so...the Russians should be also living in there! Why would they even give supplies to someone that can only walk slowly...

  • The thing that annoyed me about Arvo is that even if you give him back the meds at the end of the episode he starts saying about how Clem and Jane are the ones that robbed him. This makes me believe even more than he was trying to drop them off for other people and would just tell his Russian crew that he was robbed by bandits but they found Clem's group and he just decided that it would be better to blame the robbery on them because she knew that he wasn't actually robbed and took the Meds with him.

  • I can really see Wellington becoming the game's adaption of Wellington, and that there is a new enemy that is doing the same thing as Negan.

  • Yeah I suppose that it could be that but I don't think the bandits would capture them just for disarming him and keeping a gun. I don't think you'd give him the gun back just after threatening him, nothing would stop him from shooting them if they done that. I personally think it's all coming down to the Medicine, people get crazy about Medicine, such as when Ben was giving Medicine to the other Bandits in Season 1.

Well, Jane did steal his gun..

  • Maybe his sister was sick... :p

  • I have a feeling that's what happened, because on one of my playthroughs where I didn't take the meds and stayed quiet in the confrontation, Arvo said something like, "It was a shame. You were very nice."

He's just lying and pinning the blame on you.
