I want that baby alive, but for more selfish reasons.
I mean just look at the effect the baby had on armed, pissed off Russians, I bet that's even more useful on people who aren't currently pissed at you
Clem: hi people who run Wellington, please let me in!
Clearly not the average 11 year old girl.. You underestimate Clementine.. I never said they were just going to sit down and let themselves die, did you even look at the weapons those Russians were carrying? One could easily kill the entire group in a matter of seconds. Also did you NOT see the Rebecca's corpse hunched over the baby covering it? No one's going to shoot the damn baby, unless a stray bullet lands. I feel sorry for your Clementine.
Yes. I'm sure that one 11-year old girl will be the factor that decides if the group is wiped out or if it survives. Seriously, do you think… more that the four adults with guns pointed at the Russians are just going to sit down and let themselves die if Clem decides to save the baby? Nothing Clem does is going to change the outcome of the firefight in any significant way, so I think it's better to make sure that the baby is safe instead of trying to be Rambo.
She's not the average 11 year old girl, but she's still an 11 year old girl. She can't turn the tide of the firefight no matter how awesome you think she is. You said that the ENTIRE GROUP would die if CLEM goes to save the baby. The only way that could happen is if they just gave up and let the Russians kill them unless Clem chooses to help fight. How does that make any sense? Also, if the Russians' weapons could kill the group in a matter of seconds then what's the point of fighting? The whole group would be dead, as you said, in seconds. It's best to make sure that the baby doesn't take a stray bullet. An AK-47 round could easily tear through Rebecca's body and hit that baby. There are going to be quite a few stray bullets considering that those Russians have an AK and a shotgun with them, so the child is still in quite a bit of danger. Don't feel sorry for my Clem. She'll be protecting the baby instead of trying to be a hero by fighting a hopeless battle.

So this is a new screenshot for 205? Awesome. Now we know nobody was harmed in the making of the gunfight . We'll probably get a trailer in the next 5 weeks.

I actually agree but the thumbs up won't post so I had to make a comment. All this sentimentality is out the freaking window in an apocalypse. Yeah life wants to go on and foster the next generation etc. but at this point in the story there's no solution or hope for anyone...not even a good shelter. It's constant movement, scavenging for food and weapons, running and fighting. You can't do any of those things, you die. The baby doesn't have any parents now so who wants to risk their lives to protect/save an infant that won't even begin to be useful for years? The only practical way they could use the baby at this point would be as a distraction. Set it down and let it scream to attract walkers while they breech whatever.
I'd fight. I can't bring myself to care about the baby and I don't understand why other people do because, well...it's a baby. It doesn't d… moreo anything, it just uses up resources, time, and energy, it makes random loud noises, it doesn't think or feel, and yeah, it might be cute and amusing, but it just doesn't make sense to care. It's going to die in any scenario anyway, it can't withstand the zombie virus because it's immune system is weak, it's extremely cold, and there is only one thing it can eat...baby milk. Where are they going to find random formula? I find it very difficult to view the baby as a person when it doesn't even have a personality and won't have one until it's at least 5. It's more of a thing than something to care about to me.
I know I already agreed with others that I would choose to fight over protecting the baby; however, now I came up with a more logical reason… more so I might as well point it out.
If you choose to protect the baby, you would be narrowing down the odds of your group making it out alive. Burich has an AK (which can spew out quite a few bullets out per second), Vitali has a shotgun (and the spread on it should be decent so Mike isn't the only one in the line of fire here), while Maud has a pistol. If I recall correctly, Kenny, Clem, Bonnie and Mike all have pistols and Luke has an AK. The problem here is that at the end of the scene, Luke lowers his gun to turn around and shout "NO!" so even though they outnumber the Russians, their firepower is devastatingly weaker.
With Clem and Luke not having their guns in position that leaves 3 versus 3; and that is really bad. The shotgun will most likely get Kenny, Mike and possibly Luke and Clem thanks t… [view original content]
Clem has never been under fire before, hell in some playthroughs she hasn't even killed yet. She's useful, but I don't think she's the force multiplier that will in the firefight.

I think Bonnie will get shot but live due to the vest . We will wipe the Russians out and probably lose only 1 person likely Mike . Clem isn't getting shot.IMO I do Agree there could be a Kill Arvo or take him with us kind of choice after .
If the baby (do we have a preferred name yet? Mine's Omid) dies I think Kenny will finally crack for good; he's already shown a paternal attachment to the baby despite having no real relationship with Rebecca at all. In my view he's moved on from Clem (who is now fallen in his view after what happened to Sarita) and made the baby a replacement for Duck. He'll be willing to protect it at any and all costs - if he perceives Clem abandoning it or putting it in danger it will drive a rift between the two that will not be repairable.
I agree with AndreAB. This is very professional. Plus there's a huge impact that either these choices in the OP would make. This scene here is meant to be very tense and you perfectly captured that intensity. Good job!
Nice little theories. This is the awesome part about playing it as soon as they come out. Everyone having their own theories for the next ep… moreisode. I'm not so sure how it's going to pan out being honest!
I think Clementine will shield the baby and survive in cover. The majority of the Russians will die. Mike will die but he'll take one out with him. Bonnie will kill the female Russian but she'll be killed also. Unfortunately because I like them two. Kenny and Luke will be wounded but they will each kill a Russian and live.
I also think Arvo will be wounded in the cross fire. And that will be a choice. To either put him out of his misery or leave him to die.

That is why I wrote in the last paragraph in my fairly big post. Unless somebody intentionally tries to shoot the baby, he should make it out fine due to him being below the bullet trajectories.
Protect the baby? Protect it from what?
It's not like anyone is going to aim for the baby especially when they are aiming at eachother in a gunfight that's about to start at any moment.
Russians are evil not stupid.
What accident could happen to a baby covered by his dead mother's body? Where could a shot ricochet and what are the chances of it hitting the baby covered from all sides in such an open, natural area?

I never said they didn't, I questioned the chances of the baby getting any harm from the situation, especially from random events like ricochets in such an open, natural area, considering that the Russian group are targeting their enemies, not the baby, or her mother's corpse.
Only thing I could think of is someone grabbing the baby and using it to threat Luke's group with it's life.

Could be by Telltale logic, but 11 year old Clementine usually needs help turning dead bodies around, how is she supposed to get Rebecca's body off the baby, and grab the baby while she has a gun in her hand, then run to cover with the baby, all in the time of a disorganized mess of a close quarters shooting which should end pretty quickly, considering everyone will be spraying their guns at the closest member of the opponent group, with her being in the literal middle of it, if that even happens.
Even then if it doesn't happen, what stops a fully grown man with a survivalist mentality from just kicking the armed and unpredicable 11 year old girl and taking the baby as a hostage anyways?

Wow lol. I guess we're really seeing what people are made of with this hypothetical scenario. We have some awesome personalities out there I tell you lol

Why does the baby need protected at this point? It's the safest one in the situation.
Not at all, great explanation!
Clem has never been under fire before, hell in some playthroughs she hasn't even killed yet. She's useful, but I don't think she's the force multiplier that will in the firefight.
I might make that scenario later, assuming nobody else does. Sounds interesting.

Forget the baby. I'll save Kenny or any of the group. The baby is hardly an interesting character.
I used the same logic with Sarita's arm. We both know how that turned out. :X
I'd like to see the baby take out a Tommy Gun and starts shooting everything! xD

Idk about anyone else, but Arvo is a goner in my game trailer if I get that choice ll
Hey, thanks!
I'm really looking forward to seeing how this situation plays out.
I'd fight, the baby is under the line of fire and is being covered by a dead woman. I'd show them that Clem is the biggest threat they'll ever face
That is why I wrote in the last paragraph in my fairly big post. Unless somebody intentionally tries to shoot the baby, he should make it out fine due to him being below the bullet trajectories.![:) :)](https://community.telltale.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
This is a still from 204. Nothing to do with 5 has been released yet.

We have no indication they are evil.,,
Accidents happen, shots ricochet, etc.
Double post dammit

I really like these choices man.![:3 :3](https://community.telltale.com/resources/emoji/blush.png)
Bullets pass through bodies, as I've stated several times now.
Thanks.![:) :)](https://community.telltale.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)

I know right? Them damn commies is endin' good life here in Murica my friend. /s
Taking a baby hostage. Son of a bitch, it's Season 3 of Sons of Anarchy all over again. :P
Holy shit. That is a genius idea. Take the baby hostage and the group gets captured because of it.
What do you think of the Russians taking the baby hostage if you don't choose to protect it?

Clem gets shot then the baby gets shot what are you not understanding? I'd rather help my friends then the baby..
They'll need all the help they can get.. She does have a gun after all.. Clem has killed the stranger before too..
That's a compliment.
In real life I would fight too. Unless it was my child of course, why would I care about someone else's baby?
I hope you're not being sarcastic because the people who would fight instead of saving someone else's baby personality is awesome.
Isn't that what she did to Lee if you decided to kill him?
