  • I think a strawpoll would have been easier and showed more results.

    3. Yes,as normal character 1 vote (6%)

    4. No 1 vote (6%)

  • Absolutely YES!!!!!!

Clem is the focus of the game, TT can't kill her or change the protagonist! ;)

Yes, but I think I'd like her to be a deuteragonist, mostly because I want to play as a different character with equal importance.

If she is the protagonist, I would like to see her as a teenager.

In both results (Google Docs and Strawpoll) is only 1 NO so it is awesome! :)

(but it would be better if there would be no NO :D )

  • No. I don't wanna play as a kid again.

  • I already wrote it and I write it again: I think it is fine to be little girl. Cause adult is stronger then little kid so he/she just fight and do the things normally but little kid is thinking and making the game interesting cause she's not as experienced as adult (Lee Everett or anyone) and she's trying to run, hide, throw things,go through zombie horde (you know end of S2 episode 3 and beggining of 4),block zombie's way and make friends. And also she's more ''destroyed'' of situations like death of someone or things like this than adult (Lee) And i think Telltale wants to be kinda original,i don't mean that there are too many zombie apocalypse games with 11 years old girl as a protagonist (at least i don't know any then Walking Dead Season 2)

This is my view,I don't know if you will agree :)

Sorry if you don't understand (I hope you understand :D ) but I am from Slovakia so my English is bad (I am writing it everywhere but just for sure)

  • I get what you are saying, you wanted to explore the game from a kid's perspective. I kinda agree with you but don't you think this is one of the reasons that made S2 not as good as S1? I said it before, playing as Clem ruined S2. In S1 your choices were more serious and had an impact on the group, you had to think carefully when playing as Lee in S1. Now whatever you do while playing as Clem nobody gives a shit because you are a little girl.

  • Whoever fits a good story ;)

  • But some choices matter, cause if ''nobody gives a shit'' then no one would be angry on you, like Kenny for a while or someone

  • I love playing as Clementine precisely because she's vulnerable and underestimated, a valuable trait for any horror protagonist. It's a twisted coming of age tale for a little girl and valuable in that sense. As far as I'm concerned, the zombie genre's gone stale because far too many examples fall into the trap of making it seem "badass" rather than emphasizing the misery and horror that comes from every dead person becoming a soulless hunk that devours any living woman, man or child they see. The zombies in TWD are still pretty inconsistent as far as I'm concerned in the threat they actually pose, but making you play as a child forces you to be at a disadvantage compared to the dead.

It seems like a lot of players want to play as big tough guys or cold-hearted loners like Jane or Kenny because of the empowering factor. But the element of vulnerability and dependence on human relationships is equally as vital to making a survival-horror story work. Let's face

  • You are right,bro :)
