Guys, I don't care how many of you disagree with me but how on earth you guys STILL believe we are going to get this episode is August is nothing short of bizarre.
Telltale has released NINE episodes. All NINE episode (besides 1 I believe) have been at least an 8+ week long wait.
Why can't you people just be realistic here. We will be getting the episode mid to late Sept BEST CASE scenario. The Walking Dead show starts the first (or second) week of October. They clearly want to release the games finale close to the TV show for obvious advertising reasons. Please people don't be dumb. I am not complaining about the release dates even though we all should , but I am just saying :
For heavens sake, it is not coming out in August. Period.
You're dismissing a real possibility though, the walking dead's finale in season 1 was around 40 days, the wolf among us had a finale around 40 days wait too, this episode could easily be released by the last week of August or the first week of September, they are almost done recording voices and an early version of the episode has already been played.

I don't want to sound self-righteous or anything, but A26 is unrealistic. Of course I want the game as much as any of you, I wouldn't complain if it came out right now or something. This isn't about being right, hell, I want to be wrong.
But it will be September 9 at earliest. More likely September 16. Very, very, VERY unlikely September 2, but I can't see that yet.

Agreed. I would love to eat my words and come on here telling everyone how wrong I am . . . but there is NO WAY. Wouldn't make sense with respect to the Season 5 premiere of TV show AND with their history of release times.

TWAU was released in 5 weeks, they can do the same for TWD S2 they probably want episode 5 out of the way so they can fully focus all there advertising into the borderlands game.

Me too. I hope its the longest episode, and it should be since its the last in the season. It needs to go out with a bang, and make a good setup for season 3.

Because the last episode has been released quicker than the rest in both season one and TWAU, so why wouldn't this one?

Now the episode needs to drop file size, which took 'Amid The Ruins,' two weeks of updating, so around that time frame.
