I hate hate hate hate it when people say that the reason the episodes are shorter are because Telltale is working on more games.
1) You do realize Telltale doesn't have 40 people who sit in a circle everyday and decide what game they are going to work on that day, right? Each game has different employees working on just one game. Makes logical sense.
2) Even if it was the case that it IS because they have more games, it is still THEIR fault for not knowing how much they can handle. They took on the responsibility of making all the games and continuing with high quality of there titles they already produced.
Annnnnddddd the cycle begins.
First its "August 26 for sure!",
then its "September 4th definitely! Telltale is awesome!!!!",
then i… morets "It has to be September 18th, Kirbinator stop being so pessimistic and annoying"
then its "Ok well we have been waiting for 8+ weeks now so it will come out before the TV premiere mid October... right?"
then its " Wait. . . Is Kenny still alive ? I don't even remember where we left off. Anyways fingers crossed for Halloween!"
then its "Telltale you have failed us so many consecutive times but I still love you and you can do no wrong, it will come out early December!"
All in all,

All in all,
Where did you hear that? I thought Nick Breckon was supposed to be the writer of episode 5, but Mark Darin isn't a bad writer either, he wrote for Starved for Help in season 1.

All in all,
Whenever a game updates on Steam, more starts to get added to the game, so parts of episode five are already being put on the game.
Kirbinator stop being so pessimistic and annoying.
September 4th definitely! Telltale is awesome!!!!
Feel better?

Nick should be the one writing it. He said it himself during a Playing Dead episode.
