Could Mike be the next playable character in season 3?
After thinking about this concept, it makes sense.
Mike would be next logical choice.
We know next nothing about his background.
And since he's only been around for 2 episodes, his character is still fresh, and relatively unknown/ unpredictable.
What do you think?

I don't know, I like Clementine, but Mike is a close second. He really is trying his best to become more of a member of the group, I just hope he survives that long. He's kind of a badass.
Mike would be interesting. We've seen different sides of him, but not enough to cement him in character, leaving us with the chance to use him as a protagonist and shape how he is. Also we know nothing about his history, so that's another part that can play into it. I'd be down with playing as Mike

I like Mike but I want to play as Clem in season 3. If there was a new playable character though I'd want them to be someone we haven't seen before so we can decide their personality for ourselves.

The ideia to play as Mike is really interesting but I seriously can't think of a season 3 not playing as clementine.
Playing as Mike in a DLC or DLC's would be just great.
Personally i would love it, i am sick of playing as Clementine, however i have a theory which doesn't show a good outlook for mike.
Any character with a awesome Catch Phrase dies
Ie) Garry the Save Lot bandit "I Don't like no Hash."
ie) Lee "Drop the gun bitch"
ie) Carlos "She would cease to function."
ie) Mike " i would eat the shit out of that Raccoon."

I love it. In my mind there are two types of characters, story characters and catch phrase characters. Lee was a bit of both, that is why he was successful. Sarah never had a awesome catch phrase like her dad/mike, that is why no one really liked her.
Maybe because he reminds people of Lee.
Lee: "No! Why would you say that?!"
I wouldn't mind it. Mike's one of my favorite characters.

I hate to say it, and I really don't want it to happen but I'm 99% sure Mike is going to be ripped apart by bullets at the start of S2E05
If he survives the shootout (hopefully) I'd be down with playing as MIke. I hope we don't pick off from where s2 ends however. It can be as Mike as soon as the apocalypse starts right up to when he ends up in Carver's camp.

I would prefer Clem but I wouldn't mind Mike. I mean, hell it's Mike. Mike is the man. And plus, he's to the point where he is developed enough that people love him, but not so much that we actually know enough about him or have anything to dislike him for.

But if he does survive, I actually wouldn't mind him being playable even though I'd much rather have Clem.
Hold on here... I'm a fan of Mike and all, but I think having him as the protagonist would be a bit much. He only just joined the party at the end of episode 3. Even more importantly, while Clementine wasn't the player character in the first season, she was central to the narrative. The Walking Dead has revolved around Clementine since the beginning, and unless they switch to another 'guardian' figure (which would be a bit silly, seeing as season two has proven she can take care of herself), it wouldn't be season three, it would The Walking Dead 2 Season One.
Plus, there is a question of the player character's personality - Lee had a lot of wiggle room because we just met him (duh), and you can argue the time skip is what gives Clementine the ability to be believable whether she's played aggressively or cooperatively.
