why did they call them walkers?

didn't catch it the first time around but on my second playthrough of episode 4 i noticed that luke and rebecca were calling them "walkers" instead of "lurkers" i mean they had been calling them that for the past three episodes why would they start calling them walkers all of a sudden. not really a big deal i just thought it was kind of strange.

  • Some people already noticed it... Yeah kinda weard

  • I'm not sure why they started calling them walkers.

I know lurkers are the lazy zombies that pretty much play dead till you get near them and walkers are the walking zombies.

  • Because you know.... they walk.

  • Maybe to not have confusion within the group, so they adopt Clem and Kenny's terms on calling them walkers instead.

  • Why does it matter? They just happened to use a different phrase?

  • Maybe they grew a custom to saying it since they heard Kenny, Clem, and whoever else saying it a lot.

  • because they only walk.

  • The S1 group used walkers right? Maybe they just copied it from kenny and clem

  • Because many people were calling them walkers and them 2 were only calling them lurkers

  • maybe, but another thing is that they were at carvers camp for several months and it seemed everyone there called them walkers so now im kinda confused as to why they called them lurkers in the first place

lol i dont know maybe im thinking about this too much

  • Because the script said so.
