I absolutely love Carver. I just wish he didn't die so early and they ended up making him power hungry which is what I expected but executed in a diferent way I guess.
Not exactly. But I can understand people hating Carver if they liked one of the people Carver killed. It makes sense.
But since I don't hate him, I look at him objectively, and I see him as being a strong person and leader. I want my Clem to be like that, and be capable of killing without feeling bad about it, whenever she would deem it necessary for the sake of her own, or the rest of the groups good.
I don't ever want Clementine to kill without feeling bad about it. You do what you have to to survive but you don't have to turn into a monster. I would rather she emulate Lee than Carver. He did whatever he needed to protect his own but he wouldnt throw a man off a roof just because he messed up teaching kids how to cut flowers.

EP2 Carver can be a great villian for this season and is very interesting, Intelligent, smart, charismatic and even more. How he treats Clementine and the others... I'm gonna enjoy this season! I hope he survives EP3 and plays in the first hour of EP4 and goes out like a villian and something greater is gonna happen in EP5
I think it was a huge mistake killing Carver off in episode 3. It feels like the lord of the rings: return of the king movie now, where all the action has taken place and the big evil bad guy is defeated...so you think the movie is over. Cue in another 30 minutes (ep 4-5) of epilogue filler afterwards
carver wasn't evil he believed he could save the people in his community he lost his mind yes only because everyone had reliance on him to much pressure and then some of his people left and took supplys that didn't help his mental state
Being that smart and dying like that was definitely not the best thing. He was a good character but he happened to turn crazy because he was strong but not enough to handle himself. He saw potential in Clem and I believe she will turn into someone mixed between Carver and Lee. She'll be a strong leader, she'll do what has to be done and she'll try to make the best out of the weak but won't hesitate to eliminate somebody who's ACTUALLY put the group at risk (betrayal for example - a Ben situation) but I believe she won't enjoy killing at all (unless somebody hurt a person she loved for example but who wouldn't?). She's sassy, she has great comebacks, she's always first to go and she can reason with people.
Carver was a great villain, I'll say that. Everything about his design made my skin crawl. But I think the reason why Kenny killed him is because Carver represents the end-point of the downfall Kenny is currently going through. There may not have been any redeeming aspect to Carver that was shown, but we all know Kenny started off as a good man and is now an unstable mess.

Do you?
You're probably right, I'm sure he's a great guy once you get to know him.
I am right. You already gotten to know him and see he's an awesome guy.

LILLY KILLED CARLEY.
SHE DEED
Carver reminded me of my father in some ways to be honest.
He wanted everyone to know what will happen if they betray him. He didn't want to get a Season 1 Ben situation.

EP3... I don't have anything to say!
That explains Nate's behavior.

He didn't want people to betray him? That's how you make people betray you.

I liked him....and his jacket. Telltale should put his jacket for sale.
And his voice. It's sad that voices can't be sold.
