Who would win in a fight? Jane or Lilly?
I say Lilly would win. Jane has survival skills, but Lilly being the daughter of an army man and from the army means she probably knows how to fight well.

If you're referring to a purely physical fight, I would guess Jane -- even though she is pessimistic and depressed (at least from what I've gathered), she does seem to have a lot of survival experience and seemed to be rather creatively helpful with Clementine.
So I personally would guess Jane.
Molly could take them both with a hand behind her back...
Jane, no hair to grab onto.
Jane will win. And when it comes to Lily being a soldier? She was a mechanic.
I think she said that she worked at the "Warner Robbins Air Force" base, and that she "deals with a bunch of shitheads and bureaucrats all day. Maybe a plane if [she's] lucky."
Lilly would shoot her in the back if Jane says something dumb.
Well she did apparently teach all the adults how to use firearms. So it's not like she was completely devoid of fighting experience.
Really can't say since we didn't had a chance to see Lilly's fighting abilities.
Yeah it wouldn't come too a fist fight , Lilly would just shoot her unless she has found Jesus while alone on the road out there
Hilda. She's the sharpest tool in the shed
Lily's a soldier in the same way that Tara from the TV show is a cop. Tara's a cop is the barest sense in that she sort of started at the police academy but mainly did secretarial work. Lily's a soldier who mainly fixed cars and, if she was lucky, tinkered on planes. Both of them pretty much lost it as neurotics and arent exactly good examples of fighters in the Walking Dead world. Just sayin'.
Assuming Jane ever was dumb enough to turn her back on Lilly. Or doesnt leave the group at the first sign of Lilly's MASSIVE instability
To be fair, it's not like Jane showed any exceptional skills in fighting either. She was good at killing walkers, but that's about it from what we saw. She disarmed a disabled man, I guess. Not that impressive.
RIght. Because she was a mechanic.
She's as much a soldier as much as Bill from King of the Hill is a soldier (he was a barber in the army)
And Bill would at least have a chance to be useful in the Walking Dead by making sure people's hair was kept short.
lol Lee told Clem to keep her hair short though...
Kenny was massively unstable and Jane still didn't leave the group...
What are you talking about? She left within a day.
Heck. Actually she left within 12 hours. She stayed JUST long enough to give Clementine some advice and get some from Luke.
Lilly.
if it was a physical then Jane.
if it was the battle of words then Lilly.
Just responding to this part. Kenny was just as unstable as Lilly yet Jane didn't find that reason enough to immediately leave the group. And the only reason Jane left in the first place was because she was afraid of getting emotionally attached to Clem and then watching her die, not because she was afraid of Kenny's instability. "Jaime... Sarah... I'm not gonna stick around and... watch it happen to you too."
A gunfight? Lilly.
A close fight? No idea. We've never seen Lilly fight at close range. She kept the adults at a strict military training regimen, so I guess she must be good?
But I imagine Lilly must be a badass two years into the apocalypse.Don't forget, she must have learned how to survive on her own just like Jane, since she was abandoned. So who's to say she hasn't become a fighter? Jane and Molly certainly didn't have military training before the apocalypse yet they learned to fight just fine. Imagine someone like Lilly?
I imagine her in one old those military outfits, short haired and armed to the teeth. Maybe add a military beret for cool factor.
Dude, she left within a day. As soon as they were out of immediate danger from walkers and the baby being delivered, she was GONE. That's pretty close to 'at the first sign' - she was almost going to leave as soon as they made it to the statue place.
If she was watching Lilly going haywire, she'd already be gone. Don't get into semantics.
My point was that the only reason Jane left in the first place was because she was afraid of getting emotionally attached to Clem and then watching her die, not because she was afraid of Kenny's instability. She saw Kenny's outburst at Clem first hand, but didn't seem at all to be in a hurry to leave because of it.
Anyways, why does this even matter? The discussion is who would win in a fight. If Jane would've parted ways with Lilly immediately after meeting her, there wouldn't even be a fight in the first place. Now, if they did fight, I honestly have no clue who would win, seeing as we've seen neither character getting into close range fights. I guess I'd give Jane the advantage, simply because Lilly had long hair she could grab. Then again, she might have cut her hair by now for all we know.
Probably Lilly!
I'd probably have to give Jane the advantage too - she seems better at a 'anything goes' fight for survival. Sort of like Lee was. Except not likely to put herself at risk like Lee was (unless pushed to do so).
It goes to show just how good a fighter Lee was. If you press all the necessary prompts and make no mistakes, he absolutely flattens her.
Hand-to-combat, I think Jane would have the advantage, and as other have mentioned, we don't really see how good Lilly's fighting capabilities are.
Jane pulls out a Screwdriver and raises it above her head...
Lilly shoots Jane through the head...
Lilly wins!
everyone: jane omg totes jane
me: fuCKING OWN HER, LILLY.
