So it seems that both are showing a playground, im assuming what we were shown was the near the end of episode 5. This is a total tease by telltale since knows that we have seen the last achievement and have been worried about it. Where do you guys think this playground is? And who will be going to the playground, i'm saying Clementine reaches the playground with the baby all alone. I think ill tear up if i see Clementine at a playground holding a baby. Since Clem is only 11 that should her playing games right now, the feels are coming.

Also if you look close enough you can see other buildings could this be in Wellington, perhaps?

Heres an image of the building

  • Now that you mention Wellington why do I get the feeling that whoever is left finds Wellington and it is abandoned and it ends with Clem and anyone else in the playground just sitting or something.

I think the playground is going to be a place we wish we never went to, and will bear that creepy "silent" atmosphere like The Marsh House did.

  • Damn... Wellington might be abandoned. :-:

  • was this the big teaser thing they were talking about?

  • With all the snow the pic kind of reminds me of the chapter in The Last of Us where Ellie is on her own. I fear the worst.

  • Yeah it was sneakily placed at the end of the EP.4 accolades trailer.

was this the big teaser thing they were talking about?

  • Theres tons of clearer pictures but i cant choose which one, the one i had before didnt show the slide clearly but the buildings were clear. Now its vise versa.

  • There's a blizzard goin' on , this isn't good.

I'm sure in the left I can see the seesaw from the achievement

  • Could Wellington be a bust? It's the final achievement and they have to have reached it by then. It looks abandoned...

Can a newborn baby even survive being carried through a snowstorm like that? How is the group going to manage?

Actually it doesn't look quite like a playground to me, it looks more like some sort of training facility. Unless it's a really old playground? Like the thing above the half-tires looks like it could be a slide, but it looks very unsafe. And the half-tires themselves looks like you're supposed to crawl through them like an obstacle course, something not necessarily for little kids....

Then again, the see-saw from the achievements also looks very old, so I could be wrong.

Or maybeee if it is in Wellington, this is a playground the survivors there made for the kids and that's why it looks so odd?

  • If you look at the bars above the slide... Are those icicles?

  • Well remember the outbreak started in the early 2000's I remember being younger and going to unsafe playgrounds like this. Nowadays everything is super safe (kinda ruins the fun im assuming). This playground could have been made as far as the 1990's and was never updated before the outbreak.

  • Sure would be grim if they went through all that crap to get to Wellington, losing all those people, only for it to be nothing but a pipe dream.

Not to mention the people we might lose in EP5 'til we reach it.

Yes, this definitely looks like the playgrounds from my childhood.

I'd be the same age as her when the apocalypse started.

  • Maybe Clementine makes it to the playground alone and injured and starts tripping balls from hypothermia and blood loss, hallucinating. And given playgrounds usually symbolize fun and happiness, this one will probably hold quite the opposite.

  • This is exactly what I think the ending will be like.

  • Playgrounds remind me of silent hill, and that is not a good sign :(

At the end of ep. 4 I kept thinking "1 blanket for a baby? Jesus it's freezing, it's FUCKING SNOWING for Christ's sake. If I were there I would've offered my jacket for the new born baby. No option at all to give another layer of warmth for him? No one even gonna mention it?"

We've come all the way here, lost all those people, for the promise of a place that was never there to begin with.

Nothing but ruins. Nothing but a false dream.

But now there's No Going Back.

  • I got a feeling..It's close!

  • Am I the only one who thinks that's the town Clem saw in episode 4. I mean, they're no closer to Wellington than they were in episode 1.

  • A playground is no place for adults, only children. Could mean the death of an important adult character, or at least the dying scene of one of them. This could be another scene like the jewelry store with Lee.

  • Possibly but a achievement says "Reached the Terminus" so im assuming its Wellington.

  • The see-saw in the achievement has circular handles while the handles of the see-saw in the teaser are half-circles...but it could just be a mistake?

  • Chances are, its a 'mistake' the achievements were created in early June so they just changed how the see saw looked.

  • I just don't see a timeskip of months happening to be honest.

  • Except there's an Achievement called “Kindly Stop For Me"- Get a ride.

Clem and/or the group will be driving somewhere, possibly straight to Wellington.

But we'll just have to wait and see. :)

  • Doesn't it remend you of Season 1? Kenny tried so hard to get the group to find a boat in Savannah, only to fail.

In Season 2 Kenny is trying so hard to get the group to Wellington. Would be a shame if his dreams were crushed once again.

  • That playground is veri Silent Hill-ish.

  • Damn it looks cold! Poor clem :(

  • If you look at the top left, it kind of looks like there is some sort of watch tower in the distance?

    Pls be Wellington.

  • Id be dissapointed if we didnt go to Wellington since its been the BIG thing this season.

  • It's not like the episode is going to be 10 ours long.

How would they stuff a weeklong(?) roadtrip into 30 minutes of game without it feeling like a shortcut?

Now, if somebody could just read the sign in the picture I'd shut up.
