I know how you feel. When I was 14, I had a pet dog that I loved very much. The night before he died, he was fine. He was happy to see me and I pet him and all that, and the last thing I said to him before I went to bed was "good night". The next damn morning, my mom found him dead underneath the coffee table. He loved laying under there anyways, and I assume he died in his sleep. He went very peacefully, laying down on his favorite spot. I was devastated when I heard my mom breaking the news to my step dad, and I looked underneath the coffee table and there was my dog. It's been 6 years since that day, but I still miss him an awful lot. Losing a pet is like losing a member of your family. It's a horrible feeling. I'm sorry about your dog. He must have been a good boy.
