Episode Five Trailer Prediction: Lambs To The Slaughter
We all know that Clementine will survive the shootout. Other than that, we don't really have any solid leads on what will happen in the episode, and almost any character that telltale shows us will spoil who gets out of the shootout alive.
So, here's my prediction for the trailer:
Every single major character death throughout the season is going to be recapped with a voice over by carver.
"Look at you... you fucking ingrates. You don't even know how good you've got it."
This will show the few happy moments of the season.
"That's alright. You'll learn."
Omid and Pete's deaths.
"Lambs to the slaughter."
Nick and Sarah's deaths.
"No Shepherd to guide you."
Carlos and Sarita's deaths.
"Let the sheep out of the pen. We'll see how long that lasts."
Rebecca and Alvin's death.
All this time, really sad depressing music is being played. Then it's a sharp cut that leads to some sort of armed with death sequence involving Clementine, and maybe a cut to Clementine holding the baby (who nobody really thinks is going to die in the shootout) and slowly walking through a blizzard at night.
If she gets shot in the shootout, it wouldn't be much work to swap the wounded Clementine model with the unwounded model.
Comments
That's...pretty clever, actually.
take my like that might be it
I believe both Clementine, Kenny and Luke will survive the gunfight.
I have a feeling both Kenny and Luke will be wounded.
The baby, Clementine, Kenny, and Luke will survive the shootout probably. (I listed them in order of most likely to least likely.)
Arvo will probably live too but I have a feeling Kenny will attempt to kill him very soon after, if he isn't too badly injured.
Same here. I think we'll have to decide whether to let Kenny execute Arvo or leave him to die.
That sounds really good. I like it!
You mentioned really sad, depressing music playing. Maybe something like this?

I kinda wanna spare him, but I think seeing Bonnie and Mike die in front of me might heavily influence my decision.
Remember that it's not his fault, but that of the bald jackass who started shooting first. Also remember that, regardless of whether you forgive her or not, Bonnie stood by as Carver murdered Walter.
I expect it to be a Lee voiceover telling her she is going to see some bad stuff (Carlos' Death, Kenny Beatdown). Leatherwolf69 had a great idea of playing 'Last Wishes' as the trailer music. A few scenes of her and the baby walking through the snow. A couple of walker scenes. One Kenny scene and one Luke one. Clementine crying and holding a gun out. It cuts to black. 'Don't Be Afraid'. 'Please... don't go'. The Walking Dead Season 2 Finale-No Going Back.
Amazing idea!
Now, I am waiting a fanmade trailer for this!
I had the idea of a clip show from 101 to 204 with an overlying sound of gunshots that start of silent and noticeable and they get louder andn louder then stop to a quote from Clementine then a fade to black with the release date.
No shephard to guide you = Sarah and Nick's death (Carlos and Pete Dead, they protector)
Thanks!
Eh, this might work, but it will probably be a new track from anadel.
I think the music that you met or lost Christa will start playing near the end. (Or maybe the music with Lilly). They did that with Kenny.
Awesome!!!! The feels though:'((!
How come the fans are always more creative than the company itself?
To be fair all I'm doing is typing something out. The amount of work that goes into these episodes and trailers is quite heavy.
Cuz it's hundreds, thousands, of minds meshing together. And when they are in the forums, most , are really going into detail breaking down a lot. And they're creative
Agreed.
That could work too.
Yeah, if telltale can't make it, one of us could when the episode comes out.
Lee might be a good counter to Carver in the trailer.
I'm pretty sure that Kenny is the only one who will die from the shootout.
"Lambs to the slaughter" In my opinion should show Carlos and Sarita's deaths, because they followed the group, like lambs, and their deaths were caused by the horde of Walkers, which is kind of like the slaughter.
"No shepherd to guide you" In my opinion should show Nick and Sarah's deaths, because Nick and Sarah were characters that Clementine kind of got the role to try and look out for them, and she was like the shepherd and she wasn't there to guide them, in fact, no one was really there to guide them.
I 100% like this thread
I'd like to say I was surprised about the downvotes, but I'm not.
I think it should be Clem's speech about Lee back in Episode 1, while she's talking about what happened, it'll show the moments she's talking about, when she says "His name was Lee." it'll show a crying Clem, about to shoot Lee, and when she pulls the trigger, it'll cut to Clem's hat on the floor in the snow with blood laying around it, and then it'll show the title.
Here take another! But I doubt it.
That's actually a cool idea. I'm wondering why you aren't working for telltale.
I live on the other side of the country.
I'm not a college grad yet.
HAVING SAID THAT: If telltale is looking for a moderately talented writer who is willing to work at minimum wage, contact me!
Thanks!
That wouldn't bee to bad.
That wouldn't bee to bad.
Perfect trailer idea as it pretty much proves that Carver was right in some sense
Maybe just Nick,Sarita,Carlos,Sarah and Rebecca as Alvin and Pete died before this speech
Aw this made me cry..
That was my intention.
Haha okay
I LOVE it!
