Thanks Healoz, for showing us this awesome game. It just so suspenseful and in my play through, I survived with Brian and only him. Luckily the zombie epidemic was over and we survived. Looks like the boat idea does work!
I restored the saved game and tried to get through everything once again. Me, Jennifer, Michelle and Kayden made it to the island, but we died there. Michelle got eaten and everyone else, including me, got bit. The worst ending I got so far.
I decided to replay the game. This time I played as Sherman, the athletic engineer. Me, Brian, Justin, Chris and Kayden stayed at the church. But when the shit hit the fan in the crypt, I saved everyone and we ran away. Sadly, Brian left use way before that. We made it to the island and survived the horde attack. Soon after that we found a cure and I became a hero. Yay!
Phew, it took me three attempts to get a happy ending. It was kinda funny that in first two playthroughs me and my team were females, and in the third playthrough we were males. Now I want to do the solo ultimate surviving playthrough.
Wow this game was actually pretty interesting. I focused mostly on preserving my car, and I ended up heading to Church. There was a bit of dissension amongst Justin and Lev, and I enjoyed ripping out the cable and saving Justin from the Crypt part. I knocked Luke out with one brutal kick and my crew "speedboated" to the island where we managed to get the cure and survive. Now I'm hooked on the series as a whole. Thank you good sir.
Turn up at the church without Justin because Anita will bang him instead :P If you want Michael/Brian to stay at the Church, side with Anita and make a forceful argument... having them along helps getting out of the situation after shagging. Oh, and don't eat the soup

Wow, got around to playing it, it's awesome. Although I accidently refreshed the page when I was on chapter 4 and I got so mad. Didn't work out how to save the game at that point. Haven't got around to finishing it again. xD
You folks should check out Zombie Exodus as well and, if you want to support the company while helping to show there's a market for interact… moreive fiction on Steam, they have the Heroes Rise games/stories on Steam.
As an aside, anyone interested in giving interactive fiction a shot should download choicescript from there with it being free, especially as they'll sell your work for you. It might be intimidating at first, but it's really not that difficult after spending 1 - 3 days learning the various commands. This is coming from a non-programmer btw.
That said, Inklewriter is much easier to use and pretty much has no learning curve, particularly if you're not as bothered about selling your work. They will convert your book for you and such, but . . . it just looks a mess to me and wouldn't play as well, I think, depending on the type of story.
Yeah, mine was the opposite of a sausage fest. What's that called? A non-sausage fest? Whatever. Yeah didn't really like that. That's one thing I like about TWD, it usually has the same amount males and females. Though season two there seems to be more ladies. Though, I guess it's a bit refreshing seeing as most games nowadays are sausage fests with all the war games and stuff. xD
Well, the reason it was a sausage fest is because males can only get male group members and females can only get female group members. I never really liked that feature.
Finally beat it. Made it to the island with Lisa, Jennifer, and Kayden, as I decided to play as a girl this time. Michelle left earlier when… more we went to the church. We survived the attack, but Lisa died while we were making traps. Then we cured the virus .

Yeah. Jennifer is the female version of Justin, who is obtainable in the gas station if you go in the car, or in the tree if you run through the woods. Lisa is the female version of Lev, who you can get if you go to the car and sidetrack to save them. I belive that the versions of them that you get if you went through the woods are called Chris and Carrie, but I could be wrong.

I played Zombie Exodus awhile back, but since I was playing the free version, as I have no way of purchasing it, I could only go so far.
