Use Camtasia, you dont have to download.
It usually yields better quality to download than screen cap software.

use windows movie maker
Theres an intro that should help you, but Windows Movie Maker is good too!
I use windows movie maker to edit but I use camtasia to record the scenes from youtube. :P
