Theory for Episode 5 - Spoilers for Season 2!!
So the season 2 finale is fun to think about, and with the episode being finished (needs bug fixing and some changes before release), I thought I would share my theory for the final episode. I don't have any pictures though.
So at the end of season 4, Rebecca dies and the first shot is shot by the guy aiming for Kenny, who I think will die. I think this because with Lilly most likely returning (Kenny's RV when Jane is with Clementine near the trailer, and her obvious spoiler tweet ((Unless she is ding another game, unlikely)), the conflict between the two would be a complete pain, and too repetitive. Also, he has experienced so much death, that the death of the baby is the worst thing that could happen to him, ending him before the baby does (not at the shooting, or until he is old, but still).
Also at the shooting, I think Bonnie will die saving Clem, the guilt of Carver and the Ski Lodge ate her up, and she feels like she would be responsible if Clem died. She also does have a lot of insignificance with the others, she is the most unpopular group member.
So left at the end will be Clementine, Mike, Luke, and the Baby. All the Russians dead, and Kenny and Bonnie too. Luke will feel responsible for the baby, because he is the only person from the original cabin group left, and he was close to Rebecca. Mike will carry the little they have, and Clementine will keep conversation.
Further down the path, they find Jane, who was spying on them, mostly Clem, to make sure she is safe, and offers to take the baby, but Luke gets pissed and says no, and she stays with the group, against Luke's will. Mike is ok with it, though. She tells you what she saw.
Jane saw someone just sitting in the cold with a warm jacket, counting supplies. Instead of robbing her, Jane took her with, and the girl was Lilly.
While travelling, Luke and Mike get into a fight, Luke being angered and stressed from being the Leader and of the past events, kills Mike. Luke sits down and panics, giving a choice whether to leave him or wait for him.
Finally, Lilly, Jane, Clem, the Baby, and maybe Luke arrive at Wellington. It isn't abandoned, and there are some people roaming around, behind the big fence. A population of 48. The leader comes up and tells you that the max is 50, or else food will dry out quickly. If you left Luke, only one of you can't join, but if you stayed, two of you. The leader comes up with a compromise:
The baby goes into Wellington, not counting as a person. Each person gives a reason and a nomination. The person with the most nominations and the person with the best reason stay, the rest go. Your reason choices depend on your past choices, and nominations count on your past choices (Lilly being season 1 depends on how Lee treated her, AKA if Lee was a dick and she was aggravated, she wouldn't be as close to Clem, etc. and the choices you made during the episode.).
Example: If you were a dick to Luke, he might not nominate you.
You could also volunteer to leave, but you are still forced to nominate. If you are voted off, it ends with you alone/with the other person that was kicked out (The decision with Luke), walking away from Wellington. If you go in, it ends with the people kicked out leaving.
I feel like that would be a good ending because your choices end up doing something in the long run, instead of making dialogue change, but ends up the same way. Like, either way in Season 1 Lee is gone, and the two people were obviously Omid and Christa, so season 2 was set up. With this, Season 3 won't be set up.
Sorry for going really in depth with it, its a theory of the basis, and I thought it could work.
Comments
Theory seems OK, but it's highly unlikely Jane would just pick any person she sees. Didn't she mention she works alone?
Nah, Kenny's going to be around for at least half the episode. He's too big of a character to die straight away... right?
Well... they've killed off the main character once already...
Ssshhhh... let a man live in false hope.
Seriously though, I think it would be pretty anti Climactic to off Kenny straight away.
South Park hates this game.
It was proven that Luke and Jane made a plan to meet up to f*ck together again. How much I hate this asshole Luke.
