Why So Much Hate At Greg Miller?
Seriously, he just said he was happy that a minor character in a video game died. Yeesh no need to get so butthurt, I know ill get dislikes but give the guy a break, its not like he would actually be happy over Sarahs death if she was a real person, she is simply a video game character, its really not a big deal. I think Greg does a good job hosting and doesn't deserve all the hate he's been getting.
On a side note people seem to get all mad that he doesn't care how Sarah feels even though shes a video game character with no emotions to begin with and then they tell Greg hes an annoying prick who should fuck off and get fired... These people are complaining about him having no regard for the feelings of a VIDEOGAME CHARACTER yet they disregard his feelings completely and hes an actual human being, the guy probably feels like shit when he reads most of the feedback he gets yet people seem to be more conserned about a video game characters feelings than his.

We know that it's not that big of a deal... A lot of people just have a problem with the way he does things.
For instance, I wouldn't complain to the writers of the game ON THE SHOW about their story having a distinct "lack of focus." Or talk about how the character they made was completely garbage.
I think it's mostly due to the fact that people already hated him before, and his hating on a character that might be disabled (I say might as it's never actually confirmed in the game, it's just hinted at) just added a bucket load of fuel to his hate fire. I honestly hate him just because he gets rid of characters he deems useless and doesn't think about any of the characters feelings
Hes really annoying an Im not a fan of him but the reaction of people to his view of a video game character and her dying seems a bit extreme at the end of the day people seem to have exaggerated everything he said in the worst way. People are a bit to sensitive these days, that said he should really know that and be more careful of what he said.
You can dislike a character and not think its garbage, for example most of us hate Carver but a lot of us agree he isnt a trash character and he is well written, ive never heard Greg say that Sarah is garbage or anything like that
Why did people hate him before?
People had already found him annoying due to the fact that every interview he interrupts whoever he's interviewing to make a wisecrack, so we don't learn about the person he's interviewing. I mostly just hated him due to how he treated Ben.
My butt is on fire thanks to Miller!
Well thats just the way he views the game, you don't have to worry about hurting a characters feelings well for that very reason, they're just characters. Its completely understandable that you dont get attatched to characters from a videogame, im somewhat like that, In 105 when Lee died I felt a bit sorry but I really didn't care to much, it was kinda like "aw thats sad, oh well", does that make me a heartless bastard? no Its completely normal for me to feel that way
I agree. He might be a dick, But it's just a video game character.
I like his playing dead episodes, but i guess its just the sarah comments that makes people hate him.
There are moments where he is tolerable, ask good questions and doesn't interrupt too much. I don't hate the guy, but then again, I haven't watch all of the Playing Dead episodes, only the good ones.
what did he say about My Ben.
He felt he was useless like Sarah, in fact he just let ben fall, he didnt even shoot the zombie that grabs him (he was like the 3% that "let Crawford take care of him")
Let me explain this to you ...
Sara a fictional character has some "issues." He said he was generally happy when she died. People were mad because of how hateful he was towards her, its not a stretch to think he would be hateful towards people with "issues." It not what he said, its how he said it. Personally i understand how the fans feel and agree with them, i think he stepped over the line when he said he was happy a "fictional" girl was torn apart by zombies. It showed me a lot about how he thinks and relates with the world.
