Regarding the 'NV_Clem_Bitchslap' drama

So upon further research it turns out this audio file is actually Clem screaming upon being slapped. It has nothing to do with Sarah. The noise that plays when Sarah is hit by Clem is called "NV_Sarah_Get_Slapped"

Are you happy now, people? The bitch-slap sound file isn't even related to Sarah.

IMO the haters should now sign and send an open apology to Telltale.
And see, TT247, THAT is called evidence.

  • He's actually trying not to make a big thing out of it but to end this bitchslap topic already for the masses of haters.

I wasn't trying to imply that OP was making a big thing out of it. I was just wondering why there was such a big shitstorm over it before.

I believe it was because of how Sarah's deaths were handled, and when the Playing Dead interview came out, it appeared that Telltale took joy in creating both of her deaths (though that was just jumping the gun, but they didn't help themselves by laughing with Greg Miller), so when the "NV_Clem_Bitchslap" thing came out people thought that was another way for Telltale to take their joy out on hurting Sarah.

I'd not be surprised if they did not even answer in this thread.

  • I don't get what the fuss is about. Game developers often include crude humor or little in-jokes within the files. It's nothing new, tbh.

  • I totally missed this conversation, and i'm glad i did.

Basically some people said that Telltale hates Disabled people because they thought the soundfile of the slap Clem gave her was named "Bitchslap".

  • There has been enough drama about Sarah. As long as Telltale stays away from Greg Miller everyone should be happy going forward. Telltale should have days where the developers writers take fans questions/comments, instead of doing a interview with that douche bag.

  • Yeah. They need to get rid of him ASAP because of all this drama that's arisen. I'm sick of seeing threads about him so if IGN or Telltale just told him to fuck off there might finally be a small amount of peace and harmony within this hate-infested pit we call the Telltale forums.

  • Read the "Clem's Slap" thread and you'll be astounded.

  • I read about three comments and I left immediately.

Drives me crazy how some people get so mad about that.

I joined recently so I don't even have anything to compare this to. What I can say is that I've never seen such an immature, whiney community before.

  • I've seen Star Wars and Star Trek forums that are way worse, especially with the latter.

Calling out Telltale for being racists because of a soundfile named Bitchslap, that's trolling.
