  • so what. how can people even give a shit about this.

Well...it was suspicious cuz it was the only sound-file that has a name out of all of those number...named...files :P

  • You mean that German user that called them racist? He apologized...it seems in Germany ableist=rascist

Relating to sarah.. that's one thing. Calling out Telltale for being racists because of a soundfile named Bitchslap, that's trolling.

  • It was a sensitive subject over the forums...

And he kinda..."pushed it off the edge"...

    and being a lie...

  • That was me. And I did not call them out as racists.
Still, I think even calling out Telltale for being albeists is taking things WAY to far.

She admits when she's wrong ....................sometimes.

This comment is from a user who spent most of the time over "Shame on you ,Telltale" thread.

it was me Austin, it was mee all along :D

Me too. But I guess she'll find a way to show us that we're wrong.

  • How did he push it off the edge. He did not lie. He was simply mistaken. and he just posted it as a joke anyway.

Metaphorically speaking...it was ALL a bad timing...

People were mad how TTG employees sit there and let Greg insult their character( knowing Gavin (voice of Kenny) actually disagreed at how Greg said that she was a mini ugly Betty)...people were sore,upset,angry...

And then the thread "Clem's slap" appeared...kinda saw it coming that people would've blown a fuse about it.

EDIT: .I asked him if it was from EP4.And he typed yes it's directly from the game.No mistakes were made.

No, you were trolls by getting angry over a soundfile

  • Woah dude, I found that file in the Amid the Ruins game files. Were you asking something else?

  • I joined last November too. The forum has changed a lot. I used to come here a lot more, but lately I've just not been that into it. There seems to be a lot of drama going around. I feel like I'm back in high school sometimes, when I come on here. Lol.

When I joined last November, it was great as well. I barely posted anything. You could just read through this stuff. It was so peaceful and great.

  • Seriously? I voiced my opinion peaceful ever since I came back.
I apologized to TT247 for attacking her about a week ago. I was angry and let my emotions control me. That shouldn't happen.

  • Please look at other TT Games files, and youll see apart from the numbers (dialogues) sound effects are usually named.

    Game of truths

    okay...um...

Why was that file the only named file. All the others from that screen were named in numbers...? Now we got 2 screenshots of this "slap Sarah" file...with different titles.

P.S. sorry for looking sorta aggressive here...

  • It's still kind of bizarre to call a file related to a little girl (whether it's Sarah or Clementine, what have you) "bitchslap", IMO.

  • ...okay...why were all my comments removed? :^/

  • Because obviously the mods classified them as trolling.

  • You do realize that it was just by chance that I clicked on this right? Just because I may not reply doesn't make me some kind of spineless moron. But I'm happy that it pleases some of you to try to make me look like an idiot behind my back.

    aldimon posted: »

I'd not be surprised if they did not even answer in this thread.

  • Ok, so it looks like I was wrong: the file that the OP of the "Clem's Slap" thread was referring to is NOT the animation of Clem slapping Sarah.

Wasn't the actual animation file used by Clem to hit Sarah called a bitchslap? As I understand it, it was. Correct me if I'm wrong here.

  • Whatever happened to "is TT247 gonna reply now" ?

    aldimon posted: »

Please just let the whole thing rest. Maybe we could actually try to have fun here.

  • Ehh, fuck knows. I don't know an easy way of checking. Probably not. Telltale most likely directly link the names of animation files to audio files in order to keep everything organised. The animation's probably also called something to the effect of 'Sarah_Get_Slapped.'

  • Yeah, I used Telltale speech extractor to find it. It can't read anichore .ttarch files though, only voice ones.

  • Yeah I'm pretty sure it's when you have the option to slap Walter in episode 2. At least, that's where I saw it in the speech extractor.

The number of condescending and trolling comments were from people on your side alot more often than mine.

But apparently disagreeing and giving criticism that doesn't kiss ass is "whining".

I joined recently so I don't even have anything to compare this to. What I can say is that I've never seen such an immature, whiney community before. "Do you think things will ever get back to how they were?" - Clementine

  • Sorry bout that. After arguing the whole day, I've grown tired of it. Do you really still enjoy this?
If it'd make you stop talking about that topic over and over again I'd even agree with you and say you're right.
I just don't want to talk about it any more.

  • The only posts of yours I'd consider whiney are the ones accusing Telltale of basically being ableist. Other than that, you make valid points.

  • You have to use telltale explorer young one. It works with .ttarch.
