I know it's a pretty old rumor from last month, but if Lilly was left to die after the RV scene how far do you think they drove to reach the train? It was at least a night that passed. Also she would have to get there in time before the horde overtook everything. That brings something else. WAS the RV still there when the horde was coming through towards the end of Ep. 4? I have so many thoughts in my mind conflicting this theory, but what the heck.

    The RV had radiator problems... she wouldn't have gotten far... nice thought though

    The stranger was following the group, so when he spotted Lilly at the side of the road he decided to give her a lift. Nice guy that he was.

    I think it was the train that caused the herd, with all the noise it was making.

    She was a mechanic for the air force I believe. I would assume a plane is harder to fix than a car so maybe your right
