Last discussion for now: Duck would have survived if more people chose to save him at Hershel's Farm
95% of people chose to save Shaun at the Farm in 101 causing TTG's to write Duck's death. Duck was a cool kid, and would have been Clem's knight and shinning armor. Also Carly would have been alive if she wouldn't have offended Lily.
Now that's the reason I hope we get an emotional flashback scene in the finale. The playground's supposed to represent Clem's childhood that she lost, and when things were normal for her.

It wasn't 95%, wasn't it like 60%/40%?
I strongly disagree that duck would be clem's 'knight in shining armour', I mean...come on, it's clear from episode 1 at least that hes a less capable survivor than she is.
Carly would be alive if she hadn't offended Lilly as much as Carly would be alive if Kenny hadn't tried to leave Lilly to die in the motor lodge. While it can be fun to speculate, we never really get anywhere as we can't say anything for certain![:p :p](https://community.telltale.com/resources/emoji/tongue.png)
What? 48% of people saved duck, 49% shawn and 3% saved neither (likely on a replay)
And this has literally nothing to do with Duck being killed, likely this was written from the beginning. I think the playground is just a playground in snow, there was a playground in episode 4
Let me check the 95% thing....
Well i see that 47% of players(including me) saved Shawn so yeah...
Yeah but....I wanted to save Shawn
And then Shawn died anyway so I was like >:C throws a tractor
A lot of people changed their decisions when they realized Shawn was gonna die regardless.
Be sure that tractor doesn't land on someone's legs.
It'll hit Kenny in ep5
Hopefully it lands on Arvo's other leg. He looks really awkward with just one leg brace, he'll need two after this.
Wouldn't he look even more awkward with two leg braces?
There was so much hate for Duck, Larry, Ben, Sarah. I actually liked all these character, even Larry, cause I understood them, I don't see why people hated them so much.
Duck was just a kid, he made mistakes, we all make mistakes everyday, indirectly causing the death of someone else is a mistake that people make, even if they play the smallest role in it, as humans it's common for us to make mistakes, but we shouldn't be hated for our mistakes, being hated will create a negative impact and cause more mistakes to be made, this is kind of what happened with Ben as well, he was trying to help, that's better than doing nothing, at least he was trying, he did things he thought was right, but that's all anyone can ever do. Sarah was disliked for being a 'liability', but it was clear that she wanted to be more than that, she even went to lengths to try and convince Clementine to teach her how to use a gun, Sarah wanted to be a survivor, but it was too late to teach her how as she was weighed down by those around her, mainly her father. As for Larry, he just wanted to protect his only loved one left, he even showed some care for others, Larry may have been an ass to Lee, but there's always that asshole in our lives, Lee was protecting Clementine and would do anything for her, exactly what Larry was doing with Lilly.
I really liked Duck, and I find it kind of weird that the majority of people hated him.
Nope.
Larry had charm coming out of his ass. I liked the guy even though he was a bit of a douche. Gave him food in Starved for Help and did my best to save him.
Um, on my playthrough I chose to help Doug instead of Carly because Carly had a gun and Doug looked like the one who needed help more so the way Carly interacted with Lily had nothing to do with whether she died or not. Pretty sure Telltale goes into these games knowing who is going to die from the very beginning, they just allow you different options to pick from which determines the when and the how.
