Theory about Arvo
so, I was thinking, Arvo attacks you no matter what right? so, why is that? what the hell was he doing with the bag when you first met him? I think he was dropping off all of that medicine to get rid of it for some reason. I have no clue why he would do that, but that's what he was doing right? trying to stuff it in the trash can? so, if you don't steal it from he, I think he decided to dump it somewhere else... then when you run into him, if you didn't steal his bag, he is nicer to you, but still claims that you "stole" it, or that Jane did. I think he dumped it somewhere and told his Russian friends it was stolen, then they asked him to prove it and show them who stole it, and that's when they find you... again, I'm not sure why he was dumping it, but if he lives through the shootout, maybe we'll find out what he was up to...

I think telltale sometimes makes mistakes, and this was one of them. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
I like to believe every thing TellTale puts into their games is intentional and for a reason. Right now we don't know how this will turn out, so you can't really dismiss it as lazy writing.
But feel free too since it's your opinion.
Maybe he was trying to hide the medicine from his group so he could use it just for him and his sister (If he even has a sister) or maybe he just really hates his group and wants them to all get sick.
Maybe it was a dead drop point.
Why wouldn't they change the dialogue, i thought the whole sequence was the exact same no matter if you steal the supplies or not.
The dialogue was slightly different, and I feel that Arvo maybe lying to his group and that'll come to play in Episode 5.
BUT at this moment the choice was useless.
Maybe he was planning on leaving his group and when they questioned him about supplies he said your group took them and when he went to retrieve them Jane and Clem robbed them from him and he hid them elsewhere.
I think arvo is going to be a good guy in the end.
I don't know why people are saying that him telling his group that Clementine stole either way is bad writing, I mean yeah this episode wasn't as good as the others in my opinion but Telltale isn't that stupid, he probably told his group that Clementine's stole from him because of some other reason we don't know about yet. And just because he was trying to put the medicine in the trash can doesn't necessarily mean he was literally throwing it away. It was probably a spot to hide it and he'd come back for it later or something.
I personally like the theory that he is trying to leave his group but needs the medicine, for himself or his sick sister, if she exists. Him telling his group the same thing no matter if you steal or not is too big not to be a plot point of some sort. We just don't know what it is yet.
I agree with the "arvo wants to leave his group" theory, it definitely is too big of a plot point to just dismiss. also, Inkerman, I love your profile pic. Breaking Bad was so awesome. I miss Jesse Pinkman... haha!
I think he's good too. Someone who is a sneaky ruthless murderer (like many think he is) wouldn't have hesitated to shoot Clementine or tried to get his group to put their guns down once he saw they were caring for a baby. .-.
I'm hoping that the spare or kill him thing isn't an actual choice (pretty much everyone thinks it will be.) but probably the only way he'll get to live is if he has something to help the group that they need (like if he had medicine at his camp, wherever that may be.) that they would not be able to find if they kill him immediately.
I have a feeling he is going to switch sides to Clem's side in the shootout.
I kinda have a feeling that someone will show up and end it before anyone gets hurt. (Lilly? Jane?)
I was thinking how Lilly might be the leader of their group and they're trying to defect from the group and Lilly comes and saves them before it's too late.
I think we will find out what Arvo's deal was.
For some reason he is hiding the meds from his group. If you don't steal he just scapegoats the group.
He may be like Ben who dropped off supplys to the bandits, so would there be an even bigger threat then this Russian group? I don't think he is a junkie hiding meds because I don't think the group would let him wander off with a bad leg that long. I don't know just a thought
Hey, thanks!
I miss JP too, that stupid bitch.
