I'm sad now. This I'am Clementine thing scares me.

Maybe Clem does die, and this I'amClementine thing is a huge montage of all the times we shared with Clem. Just like what people did for Hershel when he died.

''All the dead lay down'' Clem, and everyone else dies except the baby. A group of people find the baby in deceased Clem's arms and take it to safety. Season 3 we'll play as the baby, and the baby will grow up wanting to know who his father is.

  • I'm not playing as the baby grown up. That would be the worse thing ever. Id prefer to start from the beginning again 3 months into the apocalypse in a different location with a new character than do that.

  • It's a joke.

  • I already miss Clem just because I haven't played the game in a while. What will the world do if Clem dies!?

  • I think it's highly possible that Clem will die but we can't play as the baby in season 3 because if they respect the comics, the baby will be like 2 or perhaps 3 years old. Just like if Clem lives, she can only go as far as being 13 or 14 years old. I absolutely don't want Clem to die but the idea of someone finding the baby in her arms is very interesting and sad.

  • "Gaga" "Googoo" "Ooooh" "..." Baby confirmed for playable Season 3

That's how telltale's HQ would look then:

  • The TV death of Hershel is pretty much the only death in walking dead that I think is superior to the one in the comics. But then again, Hershel in the Comics was a vastly different character than his series counterpart.

  • I think they did Lori better as well and whenever she dies Carol (because their is no way to make it worse) and shane too.

Everyone else was done worse particularly Dale and Andrea

Andrea in the TV series and Andrea in the comics... please don't compare those two. In the tv series, a naggy whiny Bitch. An honest, strong, compassionate power woman in the comics and pretty much my favorite Walking Dead character (aside Clementine).

Lori's death was super in the TV series, but I found it a little bit more shocking and effective in the comics. It happened so quick and suddenly and tore me apart.

And Dale's death... yeah, let's not talk about that.

  • I know she was great in the comics still I'm glad she died in the show, she was irredeemable after season 3. Im glad they've given her story to Carol/Michonne who I find both more enjoyable in the series. Also maybe some is in Beth and Sasha too?

  • Yep. In the show, she was unbearable during the latter half of season two and especially season three. I know it sounds weird, but I was happy she was killed off.

Yeah, her story is partly given to some other characters. I don't like Carol that much, but Beth is a pretty cool character and I hope she will become what Andrea has become in the comics (basically a second Clint Eastwood Cowboy). Michonne works better in the comics IMO, she's too much of a 'cool' character to work in the show.

Meh, comics are superior compared to the show in so many ways. I imported the single issues since 2005, and the series has been a huge letdown at times (though it's still good).

  • Huh weird most people I know hate Beth and Carol and want them to die. I prefer both over overrated Daryl and definatley whiny show Carl, I'm still kind of annoyed they got rid of Sophia. Having carl as the only kid gets on my nerves

  • I wouldnt want to play as the baby. That would be totally weird. No one knows what to do. They all look at the baby.... Alvin Jr. do you know what we should do know? Baby sighs. ._.

  • I hope Carl will become more like his comic counterpart.
And I really like Beth. No clue why people would hate her.

  • Because she's not "badass" rolls eyes. Have to admit I still think based on her poor actress I think she as originally meant to be a redshirt. In season 2 and 3 she was barely there.

Still the singer who plays her is improving

  • Well, you can see how she improves her acting throughout the series. I really like her, and the actress is not doing such a bad job, imo.

Still, no woman is more awesome than her:

  • Or maybe Clem, alongside the baby are the only survivors and Season Three will play out with you having to protect a child in a somewhat symbolic way to how Lee once protected her.

  • Not to be rude, but I'm tired of people having posts where they say you'll play as grow up Clem or the baby. You cannot go out of the limits of the comics. I'm not gonna say why but it's only like a four or five year span

  • edited August 2014

About 4 and a half years have passed in the comics (I guess ~54 months), and about 27-28 months in the game. Which means they could easily do another two year time skip.

    ...
That's just not enough for the baby to be playable :P

  • I actually feel the very opposite way. I think the whole #MyClementine deal means that out choices shapes what kind of person she's going to be in the future.

Also, I think "All the dead lie down" is a positive achievement, think about it "all the dead" and unless everyone dies prior to this achievement those who are dead are the walkers, so I think that the achievement means that it has gotten so cold that the Walkers can't follow Clementine anymore. Their muscles cramp and they all lay down, while everyone who's alive can move onward towards Wellington.

  • They're can at least be another two year timeskip NOW actually if they wanted to do one.

But I do think Kirkman should just give Telltale full creative freedom now. At this point TT's TWD and the comics are so far apart from eachother now it wouldn't even really matter if there's a timeskip.

  • But in my opinion they shouldn't. I mean too much was missed out last time
