Why does everyone think that Clem is going to die? From what I'm getting from TellTale and the staff, Clem's personality will be different depending on how you play. I predicted this back after Episode 3 came out. The season will end with everyone have a Clem with one of a few possible personalities. This allows Clem to live but gives meaning and closure to the season. Also, with us making different decisions, this makes a perfect build up for Clem being a deuteragonist. It can be step up so that Clem's actions and reactions are based off of the Clem you create while allowing for the new main character and Clem to influence each other. I put it like this in my thread: in Season 1, we taught and raised Clem; in Season 2, we were Clem and shaped her; in Season 3, we will be taught and influenced by Clem. Also, Clem as a deuteragonist with a new protagonist will help pass the spotlight from Clem to the new protagonist. It will complete Clem's story arc game wise for a while and help begin a new story arc.
TL;DR: Clem is not going to die. We will end up with different Clems. This shapes up for Clem being deuteragonist in Season 3 which helps close her story arc and begin a new one.
Yeah, that's a good theory. I wonder who we'd play as then though next season... someone new, maybe. I was going to say the baby, as an older kid, but I don't think they'd skip forward far enough for him to be playable, so probably not.

Holy fucking shit.
I just returned from a few hours trip I had, and after return, I see a trailer (very sad and scary) and release dates (TOLD YOU IT'S A26 FGTS)
Now my body refused to be ready.

I think her status might be unknown, I'm really hoping they don't kill her off after everything. After all she's been through, after everyth… moreing from S1, and everything she's learned up to this point. It would be pointless to me, just really hope they don't do it.
I'll miss Clem. Even if she doesn't die I'll miss not playing her in S3... I would have liked her to return in S3, she would have been older and more experienced, I would have liked to journey with her from back when she was 8/9 in S1, then 11 in S2 and it would have been interesting to see her story go one beyond that... I'm not sure if I can ever get over playing a game without Clem as a playable character after experiencing the awesomeness of S2...

I would like to play as someone who has had it good and lucky for the past 3+ years of the apocalypse (how ever far Kirkman goes with the new issues). They have never lost anyone. They never had to struggle. They have all the book smarts to survive, but lack the experience. When their luck finally runs out and they are smack in the middle of chaos, in plops deuteragonist Clementine (who looks older, shorter hair, new cloths, etc.). You must work as a team to survive. You have the book-smarts, she has the street-smarts, and together you must find that perfect balance. Your actions will cause each other to grow and learn from another or will create more hardship than there already is. I just can't think of a theme or an objective that will give my scenario the meaning it needs to actually be worth consideration. Man, I have a lot of respect to game writers now more than ever.

One last thing (I know I'm breaking some kind of forum etiquette). Did anyone else get the impression that the scene of Clem and Sandra before the apocalypse was actually Clem having a flashback? That cut from 8 year old Clem (presumably hours before Sandra was attacked by a walker) to 11 year old Clem in the blizzard was powerful!!! It was almost as if Clem was briefly remembering the good ol' days and they snapped back to her stark and dark reality. As if... Clem was thinking... "Who would have thought that 2 years ago, that would be last time I ever was truly happy and safe, the last time I would talk to my parents, how dad would be pissed if he could see what I have done to his hat, how I would give it all away... just to stay in that moment... one last time..."
I agree that she probably won't die. It looks like we won't be playing as her again in S3 though, but I hope you're right, that she'll still be in S3, with different personalities. It would be a great way for choices in S2 to matter.

Well fuck off of me for once, i didnt say that i just said that kenny's been trough a lot too and learned a lot, and yet you claim kenny did wrong doings what you would do in real too youre just a kenny hater man dont reflect youre hate on me cause youre gonna regret that
I was laughing when Kenny said 'You think because you're a little girl, you can just get people killed,' while it panned to Nick and Sarah's death. I said 'Kenny, I didn't kill Sarah and Nick, you did. So you should be saying that to yourself.'

Hype confirmed for episode five
That's why you should avoid the forum after release.

The Forum, Tumblr, Reddit, probably the internet in general until you can get your hands on it.

CRIPS! THE GREAT ACE ATTORNEY IS CONFIRMED!
The comics are only four years into the outbreak so I doubt it.

yee, I mean, Clementine, we know her since the beggining...
WAT!!!
Omigod!
hmm..the choice that we make? (based on what Laura Perusco aka @Puzzlebox said).
I guess Clem knew luke and jane having sex...i guess she's gonna feel that urge.
Just woke up and saw the trailer. The first half was boring, throwback feels always get boring. The new scene though, that was awesome.

That trailer though.
My god.
The hype before this was through the roof.
Now the hype's like "Sup birds?"
Yeah, don't worry too much, hopefully she'll be okay. B]
I like how they just created it for the trailer. I hope we see more of this, perhaps with Lee?

Hello guys and girls! I'm back from my vacations and I see not only a trailer but release dates.
Good, good. Can't wait already!
Once I'm done playing "No Going Back" that pinball game is hopefully going to be the thing to cheer me up. :L
Taking tea with the aliens.
British aliens confirmed.
Side Note: Anyone else think of the Katy Perry song "Dark Horses" whenever they see "No Going Back" ?
xD no, at least I don't
Lee and Clem play football :>
They told me they were going to make a walking alive game, since there is not normal to see alive people walking.

Goddamn it I have a day off of school the day BEFORE this comes out!!!
